  1. Another vote for KSLC.
  2. NICE SHORT FLIGHTS. KLAS TO KSLC KLAS TO KPHX KSAN TO KPHX
  3. That would be a great lift for me. I absolutely love flying the desert and mountain terrain between KLAS, KPIX, KDEN, or KSAN and KSLC, my home area.
  4. Nice Pic of weather!Big snow storm here in central Utah. :(
  5. In Feb. this year I bought a Dell XPS 15. I opted for the Core 17-2820 ( a great processor and worth the extra $$) which runs up to 3.40 GHz with Turbo Boost. My card is a Nvidia GeForce GT540M and 6GB of RAM. This system set me back about $1600. I have this connected to a large screen TV with HDMI and a high resolution. Like many, I was a little hesitant going from a desktop to a notebook, but I needed the portability. However, I have been very pleased with the performance and I'm getting decent frame rates with no blur even at large airports with normal air traffic settings.
  6. I had problems with this app for awhile. I got it to work by not starting the server app until my fsx flight had loaded then starting the client app and making sure the IP addresses matched.
  7. I have been using FsMovMap for Android. I have been using it with my Android tablet and find it to be a joyful kick. I like being able to follow my flight with the satellite view zooming in and out at will.
  8. I have been using Moving Map on my 10 inch Viewsonic G tablet with Android 2.2. I find it delightful to follow my flight plan with satellite imagery (zooming in and out) and the application's ability to move ahead to view destination etc. There is no perceptible negative impact with fsx.
  9. I doubt very much that this coming game service will include FSX, however, if someone committed to the world of flight simulation could come up with a similar concept and service just for the flight simulation community, all of our issues with frame rate, blurred scenery would be solved forever. Imagine everyone running the fastest systems out there. Is this possible?http://www.gamespot.com/features/6206623/index.html
