  1. i failed to understand what you mean? This is my first and only topic.
  2. Hello Flysimware, I have bought your aircarft after reading this decription on your website. But - this is far away from being a correct turboprop simulation, the Engine simulation has some major flaws: 1. Changing the condition levers has no impact on ITT - you can climb with 100% thrust and lower the condition levers to taxi, there is no consequence on Temperature. In RL, your Engine would be melting ... In a correct turboprop simulation, you have to pay attention on the ITT, in the Flysimware way of simulating, it is impossible to raise the temps to Red Line. 2. Lowering the Cond. Levers from TO/LND to MIN Cruise leaves the Prop-RPM at 100 %. This is a Major Bug and far away from even a simplified turboprop simulation! 3. The Prop-Sounds don´t catch up with RPM changing. Sorry if this sounds harsh, but I think if Flysimware will leave this statement “The most realistic Garrett turboprop simulation aircraft on the market” on their website, they should contact PMDG an ask them to take the J41 from the market. This is real a shame, because the FDE of this aircraft is nice done an a Joy in Hand-Flying. BTW. Since the July patch, the Light Check boxes in the ConfigManager don´t work anymore.
  3. Stephen, thanks for the super-fast response It works now, the trick was the second-last entry... Regards
  4. Hi Stehpen, my Buttkicker and SB- X-Fi Go Pro justed arrived and installed, but unfortunately the SB Xi is not listed in the ButtKicker Device list (OpusFSX_v334_Beta). In Windows and FSX, the SB X-Fi is detected as a Sound-Device. Any Idea? Regards
  5. Hello, I am very pleased with that bird, especially the attention on detail and documentation (an that fantastic mission pack), but I have found some issues: - looping sound crackling when engines running. - unable to switch on Instrument backlight lights (yes I know the knob) - Power loss then climbing in icing conditions (FSX Carb heat bug?) - Crosswind landing: braking after touchdown with Rudder left or right lets this bird break in the direction of the Rudder. Is there a chance off disabling differantial breaking? ... And how can I access to www.milviz.com/forum There is no register link ...
  6. After reading the above statements my conclusions is: Carenado´s buisiness plan works perfect, most customers are happy with what they get, they don´t care about what other Companies offer:
  7. I do not think so. I think Customers defending beta products they bought are the reason, why companies like Carenado will not change their business plan. It is the same old story, the crowd will still be buying and praising and hoping for bugfixes, in the meantime, the eyecandy keeps them happy. This may be o.k. for a 20$ Gimmick, but when you charge 40$ you are in the PMDG J41 and RealAir league. So thank you all you paying beta testers for saving me 40$.
  8. Like you can expect from RealAir: All Systems are working as they should - with great frame rate. Not simulating bleed-air valves is a poor standard for a $40-addon, but it is the typical Carnendo development talent. "All what we got here's American made It's a little bit cheesey, But it's nicely displayed .." (Frank Zappa- Flakes)
  9. I can´t see no difference too, here ist the description from the readme:Fixed:- Elevation issues some customers were having- Some shadow issues- Other minor fixesAdded:- Static aircraftCheersCarlo
  10. Hi fokls,I still love tihs bird because of the fine flight dynamics, but there are so many quirks, so maybe it is good Idea to start a list with all known issues: Fuel falves fuel flow with valves cut off Fuel Pumps Front HI feeds the front Front LO feeds the rear Rear Hi feeds nothing Rear LO feeds nothing Carb Icing simulated with fuel injection engine - Press H for Carb heat (!) ADF - Another recycled Gauge from other Carenado Planes no Stdby Frequency, sorry, this is a low Standard for US$ 34.95 Payware Battery Master Switch All lights and Avionics Switch working with master Switch Off (Maybe a result of fsuipc battery settings, so not sure if this is a bug) to be continued ...
  11. +1 with bliksimpieThis is the correct description of the carrenado business plan. But why should they change this behavior? Most of their releases are praised by enthusiastic reviewers and decorated with fancy awards...
  12. Hi TomWould you please send me this gauge?cheerscarlo
  13. Ray,let me please explain what i ment.re. Aux Fuel Pump Switches:Not the tooltips (which are disbaled in my config) are the problem, the switches are not working correct.re. What do you expect for $35.00?I know that there is no errorfree Software, but have a look at the competitors. The past years Caranado Planes where nice Eyecandy, simple Avionics and strange Flightdynamics but a low price an worth the money, compared to other GA Planes. With introducing 3D Instruments, the price is now in the league of RealAir and Orbx, whithout the finesse, superb Documentation and these sort of technique that raises the bar like - and here I come to the mysterious "Asking for FS9 features in FSX usually does not get much attention from the developers" Benchmark LotusSim Albatros L39, which has all these features that never should work in fsx: VC rain, icing and real landing lights - in fsx.So this is what I expect for $ 35.00. Am I spoiled?Carlo
  14. Ray,my intention was to give you a feedback what I would expect from a review, the good sites of a product and the bad sites. Your conlusion is just a praise of a $34 Plane as a sim pilots deam - no mention on faulty fuel pump switches or fuel valves, simlpe ADF or the lack of documentations (refering on fsd Documentations must by arkward for Carenado).I hope my bad english does not sound to rude.Carlo
  15. The 337 is indeed a fun to fly and the only Carenado in my hangar with realy fine Flight Dynamics, but there are some issues i wonder why the reviewer has not mentioned (after 30 hours flight):Icing conditionsfuel infection systems but carb icing effects, what happens here? When flying in icing conditions with the 337, I have to switch on fsx carb heat with a key-command.fuel valves:fuel flow with valves settings to cut off!Aux PumpsTotaly messed up, Front HI feeds the front, Front LO feeds the reat engine, Rear switchtes only dummys.ADFno Stdby Frequence, ugly "fake-3d switches"Battery Master SwitchAll lights and Avionics Switch working with master Switch OffCockpit LightStrange looking in my opinion feels just like a Bitmap, no real dynamic ligthningNo VC rain, icing and "real" landing lightsI am realy not a big fan off Awards, Stars and other fancy decorations but LotusSim L39, Orbx Lancair and RealAir Turbine Duke has raised the bar, Carenado is still not in that league, with the exception of the cost.
