  1. I'd take a look at after's Falcon 7x. It's here: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=8946 HPM has some beautiful and weird offerings here: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?showuser=5347 Here's a decent Tomahawk: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=11697 An Antonov AN-2: http://x-plane.hu/an2/ Look at devs Ddenn and Felis. And of course there's the QPAC A320 and x737 project. There's plenty out there. There's also plenty of garbage. Have fun sorting through it.
  2. @ wb5ok:I live near KMKO. I am working on KMKO scenery as well as KHAX (now a soccer field, but useful for VFR) and KTQH. Soon as Lego bricks are made available, I plan a redo as it should be done relatively quickly. You fly this way much?
  3. Maybe you blew the flaps. If one flap is damaged, wings level is very difficult to maintain. (haven't tried in xp10) retracting the flaps should alleviate the nasty roll (if it's a damaged flap). The failures tab should show you the offending part in red.
  4. Planes have been added in mid version run in the past (Stinson L5 for example). I always make a point to rifle through my aircraft folders after updating to see if any new 'equipment' has been added.
  5. I'm digging the rain effects. They're very smooth and don't destroy my frames like in XP9. Try a fly by (shift+2) in the rain. Neat! Drops appear to be vector drawn in 3d, and not a streaked texture drawn on a cylinder. I haven't yet had a chance to fly anything with a 3D obj prop disc. Can anyone confirm if they still cut holes in the background clouds?
  6. @h2egc 40 from what?
  7. Hello GoranAre you a Mennonite?
  8. It's been a long while since I feverishly updated a forum thread every 5 minutes :PI think the last time was when Goran was regularly posting renders of his upcoming 747. I'm wearing a hole in the screen guard on my iPhone.
  9. No you don't! Nor do you notice trees, roads, windows, specular glints off cars' windshields, clouds, the horizon, or 3 deminsional components within the cockpit. Laminar should stop wasting their time on fluff and focus on the flight model. Give me a flight model bare naked with line drawings of gauges on a matte grey panel... Har har :D Of course you notice police lights. How else are you to find the accident in your 117???
  10. In the image with the police car-Are the building and fence made with Lego bricks? And Laminar needs to add a new light set: "emergency_strobe_blue", etc. I know, I know. You don't notice emergency vehicle lights when you're flying an airplane...
