  1. Also make sure you have power (other than batteries, i.e. APU, GPU) to the aircraft before trying to open the doors.
  2. Just purchased this myself (Saturday night), directly from PMDG though. I ran into one ambiguity with aligning the IRS, but quickly figured out the correct procedure. The manual titled "Normal Procedures" tells you to set the IRS knobs from the OFF position, to NAV, then to ALIGN, but the "Aircraft Systems" manual gives the correct procedure of "OFF" then "NAV" only. Other than that flew two flights and made 2 horrible landings (par for the course), at least we could walk away from them. :(
  3. Definitely the 757 just because the damn thing is overpowered. I still get goose bumps everytime I fly on them (especially during takeoff). And I'll throw in the 747 because; #1 we tend to forget how big this work of art is in real life and #2 after 41 years in production, people are still awe-struck by it...so am I.
  4. Would love to see a 757 out of PMDG, but the 737NGX will suffice in the meantime.
  5. I've been in the Airline/Aviation business for 20 years now. Started when I was just 19 years old back in 1990 when I attended College of Aeronautics (now Vaughn College of Aeronautics & Technology, across from KLGA) studying Avionics. Somehow never used my degree for that field, but ended up in Management for a couple of airlines and currently Regional Human Resources for an Aviation Service company for the last 5 years.
  6. Awesome update, but Fry777 brings up a great point. Any chance for some of us to take part in Beta when this bird is ready? I and I'm sure most if not all of us would love to put this plane through it's paces.
  7. I disagree, the Level D 767 (FSX) version works perfectly with either Windows Ultimate 64 Bit (which I have) and Windows 7 64 bit (which I use on someone else's computer). There are a couple of minor issues that Level D has said they will fix after the release of the 757, but the bird is still enjoyable with the little quirks. My suggestion though, if you decide to purchase it, would be to also purchase the TSS 767 (GE/RR/PW) soundsets. Unfortunately the soundset that comes with the bird falls a bit short, but with the addition of the TSS product, talk about as real as it gets.
