well these was the way. VOR/DME refers to combined radio navigation stations for aircraft, which consist of two radio beacons placed together, a vhf omnidirectional range (VOR) and a distance measuring equipment (DME). vor produces an angle between the station and the receiver in the aircraft, while DME does the same for range. together, they provide the two measurements needed to produce a navigational "fix" using a chart. that was the real way of flying back in the days. in the all days you have in the cockpit pilot co-pilot and a flight engineer. does were the ones they actually flying the aircraft. todays day you have what I call instruments monitors. and the reason I say that is because they don't flight airplanes any more. 90% of all aircraft flying today days only required two crew members. but like my coworkers say there are three crews. 1the pilot 2 the co-pilot and the one the actually flight the airplane the autopilot. if you removed from the cockpit two component todays pilots will complaint and the can not maintain and aircraft in level flight, they be all over the sky. those component are the GPS and the autopilot. I know I work in the airline industry as aircraft mechanic. so there you have it.

I just notice that the rotating beacon on top of the vertical flash in the front of the beacon. it look like the actual bulb is on the outside of the red cover. if some one have and idea on how to fix these issue I will like to know. it is a minor issue but is not wright. other than that is a good acft.

I will like to get some help in making a decision on wish video card to get. I will like to up-grade my old video card 570hd with something newer. I was looking at evga 04g-p4-2980 kr NVidia GeForce gtx 980 4gb or the 2982 or the 2988. my mobo is asus p67 b3 maximus Iv extream. now the question is can these video card be use with this mobo. If you look were that tap is located it will give you a good idea. That tap is to attach a rope that is located by the emergency door inside to be used as a hand rail in the event of an emergency evacuation. It should be more visible from the emergency door wingdow.

Yes using my joystick twist for ground taxing. The majestic q400 is a de haviland just like dash8 but bigger. Any way the problem is that q400 use the spoilers axis for ground steering. So I set the spoiler assignment and now the pmdg 777 every time I move the stick for ground steering the spoilers deploy.

Ok today I push my majestic q400 out of the hangar. Before I fly I have to set the steering using fsuipc, I have the steering working by using the spoiler assignment, in fsuipc but them I tried to fly the pmdg 777 and went I move the flight controls the spoilers move. So I tried to set the spoiler bag to normal, it have no changes. So I don't know how to get the assignment back to normal. The fsuipc I use is the registered copy. So basically I need some help.

Do not feel to bad I have problems with the operation center myself and no one actually answer . I have one replied but not solution. So don't feel that you alone.

I see the blue tap but when I select the aircraft type the only thing the comes is the page that says if you want to buy the aircraft. So there is no way to get to the livery installation. Even if I select the 777 or the 737 or the j41 is all the same.

I need some help with the operations center, I tried to install a new livery from avsim.com but the only thing the operation center show is the aircraft purchase page. It doesn't allow for more options. I can't install any livery. Not just the 777 but the 737 or the j41. I deleted the ops center and reinstalled and the ops center still have the same thing. If anyone can help I will appreciate.

Hi today I was in route to kphl and my kid by mistake opend the ram air turbine and press the switch. I land the apple at kphl and park. I open the maintenance page on the fms but there is no function to retract the ram air turbine. Can some one please tell me were in the maintenance section is that function. All I see is refill hyd fluid, refill engine oil, service apu scd motor, refill fire bottles, and on the second pg cool brakes, replaced brakes, and replaced tires. But there is no ram air turbine retraction. So I'm really need some help on how to do it . Tank

All my flights are in real time. I use time compression ones to see how it works, but my wife told me if you going to do it at lease do it in real time. after all it will be nice if the real airlines can use time compression. Today I will be flying from OMAD to UEEE. Happy holidays.
