i have the 3118 release from earlier this month or late December 2011. I installed that version after receiving an email to install the latest version. I did have the TCAS running when this happened to me. Dont know if this information will help.

All I know is I just had a crash as I was playing back my landing in Atlanta and it stopped. I checked the event log it showed that code.Marc

I saw you have a problem with duplicate buildings in Vegas due to US Cities Las Vegas and Megascenery clashing with each other. Do you want to fix it......

Sorry you had to read that but that problem was solved and I have apologized to my brothers here for being angry about something I couldn't get to work properly in the beginning. But it's all good now. Marc

I took the advice of one of our fellow simmers and reinstalled Windows 7, but I bought a new SSD 120gb to replace my 80 gb and I also uninstalled FSX from my D drive 240gb SSD and flat lined it (Formated) it and that was the solution. I didnt like doing it but Im happier than ever with FSX now. Solved the problem and even made REX work better than ever and solved an issue with Megascenery Vegas and US cities Vegas to make them all work together with out having multiple buildings of the same kind in the same foot print. Also have FSDT Vegas too. Happy happy happy. But I want to help the others here having an issue with this plane or the scenery. Thank you for asking. The problem was somewhere with my version of Direct X and it didnt want to accept the new version for nothing. Marc

Hey everyone, not sure if I can post this video here, but it features that amazing plane the PMDG 737 NGX. Hope you all enjoy it.

Its fixed, I finally got it to work. I ended up buying a new SSD first though and then I did a clean install of Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Their seemed to be an issue with the DirectX on my rig and I couldnt get passed it.. So doing complete reinstall of the system was my only option. I wanted a bigger SSD anyway for the OS. Now the PMDG 737 NGX is on my system and it is a beauty. I have to go to sleep because I stayed up all night working on this. I will post more results tomorrow. what did you change int he DLL.XML file. I didnt think to go there. Was your problem the same as mine?

Its sad that I have to uninstall my entire system for the sake of one plane by PMDG. I will be removing Windows OS 7 Home Premium 64 and uninstalling FSX in its entirety. Because of one plane, but hey, I'll have a fresh install and we will see if the problem was my system or the 737 NGX. If its the 737 NGX, I'll post a video to explain what happened. If it successfully installs correctly then I will post a video with the results for that too.

Maybe you can have an answer for my system which does come with the i7 2600K Overclocked @ 4.7 ghz, GTX 580 Graphics Card, 12 Gbs of 1600mhz Ram, 1200 watt psu, 4 SSD's 3 of them in RAID0, I dont know maybe my system is too slow for this. But then again why not explain why PMDG used the DirectX Setup to complete the install process and why it keeps telling me the Cryptographic Service has an issue. That's my problem and Ive already seen it several times as a complaint. The 1155 chipset was recalled when 5% of the motherboards were failing. What is PMDG doing about this issue. WOuld really like some help. Before all of our money is spent and I cant even use the plane. Thats worse than a downed server. BTW, no crash to desktop, my FSX works fine with all my other addons. Yes I have all of the tough ones too and they're working fine too. This is not a highjacking of the site either. Its asking for help. Come on guys, we all love to fly but sometimes people dont like to help because they want to be the only one with the toys, so why not share.

Maybe they are posting threads because its a problem. How does a person with an incredibly overclocked system capable of running every other addon go from flying to sitting on the tarmac because the plane can not be used due to an installation hickup that PMDG put in the NGX. How many people are putting up these issues and yet as soon as they are put up, someone is removing them. Thats not helping thats a cover up to get the product sold. You want to help than give an answer. Why is the DirectX part of the installing of NGX fail to load up. Never had this problem before today. My FSX works superbly with everything else. Im telling you that if you upgrade the ram to 8 gbs you wont have that problem anymore. i did it and not a problem since. I did this because my Overclocking master told me to and he was right.

you want to fix memory crashes, get 6 gbs or better. I had 6 and was ok fo r a while but then I got memory crashes back in January. Im now at 12 gbs and I never ever get a memory crash. I just cant get it to install correctly because everytime it gets to the Direct X install part it fails and states something about Cryptograph issues. What the heck is that. Ive tried over and over and my 70.00 is down the drain. Marc

I just wish I could get mine to install. I cant get passed the DirectX install update to make it work. This sucks for me. I was really looking forward to flying this beauty. Ive asked around and no one knows how to fix the problem and yet so many posted the same complaint. Errrrrr.

Im sorry, I did that earlier several time too and that didnt solve the problem. Tried to install the DirectX from the Microsoft site and it wont install. Keeps repeating the same answer.

Windows 7 64 Home Premium You mean to do a flat line and kill it on C drive and do a reinstall. I was planning on doing that but to do it because I just want this plane. Errrrrrr. You may be right though to just get it over with.Might do a clean install of fsx and get one more ssd to give me a little more space. thanks for your help... Marc

Hey, great picture for the profile, Im an astronomy fan myself and my uncle is the director of the observatory at Rutgers University. But I did try the download several times and it wont execute at the end just gives me that statement that it failed. marc
