I'm running my 2600K at 60 C, 4.5 GHZ, 1.33 V in Prime95. It's perfectly stable. I've been running Prime for 12 hours.

Everyone is using an FPS limiter but I can't find a download link anywhere! Can someone help me out?

I managed to grab the last 2600K on the shelf earlier today and I should have my first boot on Tuesday. I'm getting the 2600K today as well but I highly doubt that you'll get a stable overclock of 5.5GHZ unless you get a lucky chip. I would aim for 4.5 GHZ.

I too am going to upgrade to the i7 2600K. I already bought all the parts (except for the CPU) and will be building the system on the weekend. In a week I should be running an i7 2600K cooled by the NH-D14, GTX 570, 6GB of RAM, P67 mobo, etc. It should be interesting to see how I will overclock it. 5GHZ would be fantastic. This coupled with the NGX will be fantastic. My excitement level is undescribable.:(

Read a quick guide to overclocking. The trick is to set it up the most efficient and then test it for stability. If it is not stable, do not run it with those settings.

Personally, I'm waiting for Intel to come out with their Sandy Bridge CPU. It launches on the 5th of January and should easily beat the i7 in speed while being cheap as well.

I believe it's time for a new update as no one has anything to say.

I love the pic but I'm am dieing to see the landing lights. I really want it to be similar to the Airbus X but they haven't said yet if it will be like that.

There's no simple answer. To be honest, upgrading a new graphics card will dmprove FSX for you but it's not worth it as it will still run fairly slow. Get a job and save up for a computer with a good CPU. By the time you have the money, Intel's new Sandy Bridge CPUs will come out and the 560 or 570 will be out. Well worth the wait.

Once the "donut" is in, I would really wanna see the thing in action. Perhaps even post it in this thread? A landing would be awesome!

I would wait for Sandybridge and the GeForce 500 series! Then, build a new computer.
