  1. I believe the NGX and the Q400 are both amazing planes but I have to say the Q400 raises the bar. Its flies so accurately and precisely because the plane flies outside of FSX's physics. Its sorta reacting to its own more realistic and functional physics engine and basically this is depicted in FSX.
  2. I honestly have both and I say the BBS A320 is better. Only one reason, The FBW functionality is not tied to your FPS. Past there, anything I have to say is Personal preference.
  3. Hey Everyone, This is my second time buying a Flight Sim rig from CyberPower (first time I was Naive and knew nothing about computers) and I definitely need some input on which direction to go in (in terms of components). I want to get the most bang for my buck. I am looking to spend around $1200 USD, at the highest $1300. Building it off of newegg is not an option because the financing department (parental units are much more attracted to the CyberPower 3 Year warranty) I have been looking at the AMD FX 8350 as my base component. Everything else is totally up in the air. I am most likely purchasing this computer within the next two weeks, definitely doing same day shipping only because I will be on spring break from college from the 1st to the 10th of March and I need the computer by the time I go back in order to transport it with me. Right now the Video Card is something I do not care about because I already have a good one (EVGA GeForce GTX 550 Ti, 2GB and Superclocked... don't really know what it means "performance wise"... works well though). I also know I am not purchasing a monitor. I also want to have the option to upgrading this build later in the future when new hardware comes out. BIG NOTE: I am very open to either AMD or Intel, I am not putting myself on either side totally. If I go with AMD, I definitely know the FX 8350 is what I plan to choose. If I go with Intel I have no idea what is best for FSX. I know FSX is unique because its performance is affected more by the CPU then anything else so with that said let this begin! If you think you can give me the right advice then feel more than welcome to add a reply to this post. I will be reading everyone's replies before I come down to a final configuration! P.S. if you are wondering where to find which site I will be using www.cyberpowerpc.com With that said Happy PC Gaming!, and may the odds ever be in your favor! (Hunger Games Reference LOL)
  4. Not first flight... In 9 Months it will be offered to airlines to buy.
  5. It is definitely not in the league of PMDG. However if you can't wait for the PMDG and you don't mind a few bugs then go for it. If you can wait and you are expecting something PMDG quality then don't buy it because you will not enjoy your time flying it.
  6. We have a whole bunch of "Debbie-Downers" here! Have some hope guys... lol
  7. You are sooo stupid. People work hard to make these products and your talking about torrenting. -_-
  8. I think its possible to edit the drag factor for the flaps, spoilers, and gears... its definitely set too low...
  9. I understand where you are coming from on the FPS... Its actually the textures they used, they are really big and its possible to lower the quality on them, that does help with the FPS...
  10. Honestly I am pretty sure the only reason they released it as V1.0 because if they released it as a beta version with the functionality it has today most people would buy it for the beta price realizing the potential the plane has... I have been with the plane since V0.1 so this has been a long time coming... We always have to remember that even though this is a hobby CS is still a business and it would be bad business to release a non-beta at a beta price and lose out on the potential extra revenue. Im pretty sure most people bought the plane during the 10 dollar sale but still it only makes sense to hike the price up for the more functional and stable release. (compared to V0.1- V0.9). I know alot of people disapprove of this public beta testing program but it honestly is a good idea business wise when you think about it.... I'm pretty sure them choosing this road caused the development cycle to be different and a more drawn out process but it gives us simmers something to hold onto and keep us interested while we wait for the final release...
  11. The only reason its called a Service Pack is because there was a version released before 1.0 which other customers had. To those customers it obviously would be more of a Service Pack then a new product since its an update.
  12. The Plane is fine, its flies realistically, it obviously has its quirks (ex. VNAV) but its probably the closest thing we have to a 777... its far better than anything thats out SO FAR and im being honest when I say that.... at the end of the day, this thread is not to bash, I thought it was to have people who already purchased and used 1.0 tell others how the plane works for them and what areas it needs work in... But when there are 20,000 different people bashing a plane they never even bought it kinda is hard to judge from those type of people. I'll say this once, the CS B777 is nothing like their older products, its an improvement and most of all it has potential. P.S. I only post in forums that strike my interest which is why I have a low post count..
  13. We have no knowledge? Dude, its FSX.... its far from the real world... Nothing is perfect, there is not one plane that even comes close to being "Exactly" like its real-world counterpart... Some come close but close obviously isn't real-world is it? I understand some people like everything, but I have realized that I will probably never enjoy my time simming if i nit-pick every single plane and think it has to be perfect to be flown... Don't get me wrong, I love realism, i try to stick to it as closely as possible, but in FSX I will never truly get there, thats why its called a Simulator and its made for entertainment. So yeah the CS 777 has bugs, but it flies, so while im waiting for the PMDG 777 I can enjoy flying a 777... I couldn't have said it better myself... People just bash haphazardly without even having tried it themselves... if they did they would realize its not as bad as everyone makes it out to be... and if it really didn't work no one would be flying the planes in the first place.
  14. I understand, I honestly I didn't trust their earlier planes either... this one was literally the exception....
  15. Don't get me wrong, I didn't think you were arguing with me... I wasn't even trying to argue with you. I guess my tone can't be captured in text. srry if you thought differently.
