  1. Yep, You just need the right skills and test scripts and team. We do it all the time at work and have written much more complex software which many lives depend on the result to get it right first time all the time! Let's face it it would have been better to beta test this thing for months than release something useless to many. 10 beta testers you day? I'd have expected 50 all around the world for something which has been in development for possibly the best part of a decade, let's get it clear testers and people who want to get their hands on something like this are available by the thousands, so the excuses are not warranted in this case. Once again yet another lame excuse and poor decision making and foresight of what was required for the magnitude of the test arena.
  2. Lame excuse once again from a third party no doubt? I used to design the things, I know what goes on behind the scenes and by the way. You can!
  3. My two pennies worth: even though a third party contracted by PMDG has built the installer, PMDG is directly responsible for ensuring all functionality testing has been completed correctly and the installer works flawlessly before placing the product out for download. To date, PMDG have not even offered all of us who cannot activate even an ounce of compensation for our endless wait or even a complementary gift (600/700 series) upon completion of that product to ease our frustration. This would ease a huge amount of frustration and anger amongst many of us who just get a lame response through the support tickets we have all opened regarding this issue. J
  4. I did have it and due to the hotfix I got $ha&&ed. I believe this to be utter incompetence really even through the terrible excuse of a response through the support ticket. I have tried the method below over a hundred times! http://forum.avsim.n...ivation-issues/
  5. Many people have been reporting the same. I have downloaded the new hot fix from today and still cannot activate my NGX, my system immediately crashes after. I have tried steves suggestion to no luck. I can't even believe PMDG have not even offered some kind of compensation for something which themselves have created, the lack of technical support for this is unreal! even when posting a ticket. J
  6. Same here. I had activated my version a while back downloaded the hotfix today, got the above with a nnone foreign win 7 and now I can't even activate again. I reinstalled the product back to my original and still no good I am now going to ask for some kind of compensation because this is ridiculous. Having the plane then having it taken away for you! All I get now is fsx crash everytime on startup! Regards, J
  7. Anyone know how to roll back the hotfix cause at least I had a working plane!!! Now I can't even activate again!
  8. I got the same after installing the hotfix today and mine opened hundreds of activation windows! Which has now made it impossible to activate Regards, J
  9. I tried that and I get a confirm button but am unable to save even clicking on the confirm. Any sugestions.
