  1. CLS was my first choice when I've bought my fi[+r]st payware. And the chief of that company is since a couple of months not able to give me a CLS forum account. It's a shame. But back on topic. The LDS B763ER is a legend, that I've never used, because at my airport only 1 or 2 airlines use this beautiful bird. The B763ER was the first airliner ever that I've used in fs9 and that was not produced by MS (i.e. the next step after the fs9 default jets). And, there is a problem, even if you theoretically have a functionable VC. You have to find a way to just lean forward a bit to see and grip around the THR section, so that you're able to reach really all the knobs that you need. In my CLS B742 fsx, I do in fact use the 2D panel (also due to some different reasons), although I've paid for the 3D.
  2. CLS is since a couple of months not able to provide a CLS forum account to a longtime CLS customer. It's a shame. So, I'll have to find my own way... Let me describe my problem to you. You have a fresh CLS 747-200 fsx installation, it's only 1 minute old. And it works fine. You change your hardware to something accurate, something quite new. You reinstall fsx incl. activation and CLS B742 incl. your password (purchase date early December 2010). And you convert liveries like the AZ-B742 "Baci" in deep blue from fs9 to fsx, thumbnail.jpg (!) and texture.cfg included. And it's working fine again. But now, you begin to install more and more, Airports, fraps 3.5.9 (free demo version). And I have stopped counting, but on December 25th, 2012 it may have happened the 5th or 6th time (!), that my CLS B742 INS Virtual Cockpit failed. And I have paid for a VC that is almost 100% functionable, that's what the guys at CLS say about their own product! The failure of the VC is described in their forum (see-through area around the INS/HDG/APP/... turn-switch), and I see some solutions. You can download the whole 742 package now, and you can try another uncounted reinstall. But this is not my idea of payware! I want CLS to provide us (the picture that proves the VC failure has been downloaded more than 1,600 times until now!!!) a solution, that does NOT contain "please download again" every time this failure comes up again. Here are some of my system specs: i5 2500k cpu, 10 Gigabyte in system RAM (8 GB RAM + 2 GB dedicated video RAM), ... So, please, Mr Bouwman, you are not able to give me a CLS forum account. But please, help us!
  3. Hm. There are aircraft that nearly force you to taxi on a left or on one right engine. One example that I have experienced so far in a simulator is the CRJ. This jet has enough power to blow you out of the average twy when both engines are used to taxi. But I did never experience a simulator limitation, not in fs9 and not in fsx. Both simulators are fine when it comes to individually define the engine starting sequence, #3 - #1 - #2 or #2 - #1 or #1 - #2, this is not a simulator limitation, this is your (or your airlines) choice. :-)
  4. This is a very old entry that I am using right now. So, I don't know if you still experience difficulties with your PMDG products. A VERY helpful hint that you can give me would be the precise o/s version that you are using. Windows 7 Home Premium 32 Bit, or what are you using? Edit: And I agree with Paul (Fozzer), You can't compare your simulator with the one that your neighbor is using, even if the sim version is exactly the same (Fsx Gold Edition, or still fs 9.1?). We have to precisely know, which o/s version do you use with how many MBytes of RAM? I have not yet used fsx scenery that did not come with an installer. But since the year 2004 I was using every kind of addOns for fs9 you can imagine, payware mesh, landclass, payware a/c, liveries and much more. If you've experienced the whole fs9 world, it's quite easy to also optimize fsx. It's not important which folder you use, you only have to remember which folder you use! :-)
  5. I was using fs9 since the year 2004 until fsx became the far far far better simulator. And the second a/c I was ever using in fs9 was the default Beechcraft King Air 350 (the first a/c I've ever used in fs9 was the default Cessna). So, I agree with pschlute, a 1900D has never been part of a default msfs a/c choice. Do you find out who is the manufacturer of your 1900D? When you have found out, I am your friend and I can answer your questions.
  6. Well. Afaik, CS is well known for their 757 series. I only used msfs 777 once when fs9 still was in use by nearly everybody. So, I don't know much about this a/c. But, isn't there a 777 fsx publication to come by PMDG? For me, it would be more interesting to wait for a PMDG 757, because I am a convinced customer. A disadvantage is, I am no longer objective... -_-
