Page file on or off?
Luckily, RAM memory is cheap now days. I bought an extra 4gb, 8gb total. FSX seems to have some sort of memory leak, I have seen it use up to 3.8gb virtual memory with no addons exept for the NGX.

Dim light doesnt work with HotFix.
I know that you dont have any problem with the light, the thing is that if you have followed the livery issue intructions, you will be prompted to download new aircraft config files, which at the moment is the old version 1.00.2888.The dome light works proberly with those config files. Edit: All my config files where updated to 1.00.2916 after i installed the hotfix

Dim light doesnt work with HotFix.
I have found a solution to fix this problem, I replaced two sections in the aircraft config file from the old config file before the hotfix was aplied.seems like they have changed the positions of the light with the hotfix, no wonder the aircraft nose lit up instead of the cockpit. This may cause something else to not work instead, havnt found any issues yet. Ony for -800 models! This is the one after hotfix is aplied, it doesnt work for me. this is the one before the hotfix, works properly.

HGS Control Panel - Using Meters
Seems like there is no way to change the unit from feet to meters. But you don't have to convert yourself, in the CDU approach page it shows runway lenght in both feet and meters.

New Hot fix
Same for me, I deleted the Texture.XX folder and it worked. check the livery manager thread for instructions. I can confirm this, the dome light switch on the aft overhead panel doesn't work anymore.

Could you fly a real 737NG?
There is this guy from sweden, Thomas Salme is his name, he had a PPL, but wanted become an airline pilot but didnt have the money for the ATPL education. luckily he knew a guy who worked as an aircraft technican. He got to fly a simulator now and then and started reading lots of aircraft manuals. One day he desired to make fake certifacte with boeing 737 rating. He applied for a job at some Italian airline, he did a simulator test which he passed and then got hired and started flying a 737. Imagine the first time he flew a real 737 loaded with passengers He continued to work as a pilot for 13 years with his fake certifacte before he was caught about a year ago. His punishment was to quit flying and pay 2000 euros.he said to the newspaper: "it started as a fun thing"

I think it's possible, I only have a PPL, but i have spend some time in the jumpseat of the 737NG, it doesnt look too complicated.Every landing you can walk away from is a good landing.
