  1. Over the weekend I was able to get a good start on the Pittsburgh International overhaul. I have posted image links below detailing the update. Needed: Anyone that has some good & closeup images of the concourse would be greatly appreciated & useful. Also, please provide any information you think would be helpful. Constructed criticism always welcome. Note1: Changed to this scenery is the hotel "Hyatt" has been redone and brought up to date to depict the current "Hyatt Regency". Note2: Gone are the "US Airways" hangar depictions and replaced with "American" hangars. 9. In all fairness that is not a "home cockpit" but merely a desktop game. But to each his own.
  10. Hello all, Half way through designing a new KRSW for FS9 and inquiring if anyone here has some good tarmac images of the airport. Please P.M. Me if you can assist. Many thanks, Mitch
  11. First and foremost, I do realize this forum is intended for FSX users so I apologize in advance as my question pertains to FS9/2004. That said, I was hoping a scenery expert could weigh in and assist me with a question. With permission of the Mach1 scenery design authors, I am in the process of revamping and retexturing Southwest Florida KRSW for FS9. I have a texturing issue which I addressed with the original authors and unfortunately they are unable to assist as their lives have gone other directions etc. The issue I am having is that a certain texture is assigned to cover two areas on buildings. The texture works great on one building but is horribly repetitive on the other. Therefore, I wish to design a new texture for the second area - which I have since done. NOW THE PROBLEM.. I have no idea how to assign this texture within the given BGL file. I have read much of late and have downloaded and installed several programs which decompile, analyzes, and recompile’s the BGL. However, I see no where within the XML or anywhere else which indicates where texture BMP’s are assigned. If anyone is willing to give me some directions on this issue it would be greatly appreciated. The KRSW scenery will continue to be freeware. Thank you, Mitch
  12. Ted, thank you for the observation. I didn’t do any work to the Afcad file. Merely included the one from the original 2009 version. If there is a problem or if someone comes up with a better afcad file, let me know and I’ll be assure to advise the library attendant to reference the new Afcad to the 2019 scenery. Mitch
  13. KSLC Salt Lake City International is done and uploaded. Should be available on server soon. Mitch
  14. Everyone, The updates have been uploaded both here and Flightsim. Mitch
  15. This should be the final version for the old USAir (Now American) hangar on the east side of the airport. Thanks Bert for the image it really helped. Unfortunately I will not be able to get the "American" logo on the garage side. When I add it, it ends up repeating 2 more times which leaves American written 3 times along that side. Here's the final version unless suggestions are made. Mitch
  16. BINGO! YAHTZEE! That's what I needed! Thank you. Changes coming........ Mitch
  17. John, As I've indicated, unless someone directs me to where the Honeywell files are I cannot remove/update etc. etc. I will see if I can add the American logo to the hangar side. Thanks for the info. Mitch
  18. Meester< See if this is better before I upload............... Mitch
  19. Thank you. I could never figure out where the Honeywell bgl & bmp were stored or I would have fixed it. The US Airways building. I will fix. Do you have a pic of it by chance? Mitch
  20. Beta completed. Uploading later today. On to Salt Lake. Mitch
  21. Thank you and I will be in touch very soon. Airport is done but still trying to figure out where the stock Honeywell and adjacent buildings alongside runway 26 are stored. They look hideous. Mitch #NextUpSaltLakeCity
  22. I am currently nearing the conclusion of a newly (reworked) Phoenix Sky Harbor for FS9 only. The new scenery will attempt add some new life to the dated versions available. Re-coloring, new textures, etc. and much better night lighting. If those within the group with experience would like to beta before release please let me know. Mitch
  23. We use an add on module that actually does respond to icing reports and injects this in the simulation. Mitch
