Some users were bringing to my attention a large white square displaying under the scenery. After researching, this is a tell tale sign of an alpha missing. I fixed it this afternoon. I will be uploading the fix very soon. If you need the fix now, you can downloaded it from my website: White Square Fix Mitch

Lee, Thank you. Your words are very appreciated. But I feel a sense of responsibility to the original authors (Mach-1) and the end users to get this right and more importantly functionable. Mitch -
No no no offense taken at all. I was just adding that when I took on this project of re-doing Jaxon’s work I made sure I got his permission first. He graciously provided such. All good. Thank you, Mitch

Everyone, Greg Peters brought to my attention some anomalies and issues with this release. What happened is Mach-1 apparently, and unbeknownst to me, released (2) versions of BNA back in 2007. I re-did the 2020 Edition using the oldest version. Greg educated me on a newer version (v11) which had several changes including a missing texture. As a result, the past few days I have been re-doing my previous work to blend with version (v11) and you can expect a new full release forthcoming tomorrow or Sunday. The new version will be titled KBNA2020Edition_V2 * The new addition will fix the over zealous night lighting at Terminal E. * Missing parking garage texture included with better lighting. * Ramp lighting. * Darker and more realistic terminal building lighting at night. * Option for users to choose between two textures sets: DXT1(no mips) and DXT3(with mips). Very sorry for the problems and I hope to get this out tomorrow. Greg Peters has also edited a more up to date Afcad which I will be including. Mitch

Who's permission? I have not uploaded anyone's Afcad. I only attached the original from Mach-1 which I do have permission. Thanks. Mitch

Thanks Lee. Let me take a look at AUS later this evening and see if there is much I can do to improve texturing. Mitch

Everyone, Greg Peters brought to my attention a missing alpha channel on (2) files that depict the parking lot area of the airport. I have uploaded the "fix" here at Avsim and will be availale as soon as the managers add it. Sorry. Mitch

BNA2020Edition

Should be available once the managers check it. Mitch

You guys are welcome. Nashville BNA should be ready in the next couple of days. It was a lot more work and more eye candy. Mitch

Has anyone figured out in FS9 how to eliminate trees appearing on 3rd party (non-payware) airports blocking taxiways, etc? I've tried everything. The "includes" never work. Mitch
-
Agreed!!!!
-
Absolutely!

Hans, I agree with some of Howard's work. But I would caution installing his autogen buildings, ground textures, or your going to have a lot displaying "DHL" and "TNW" on every generic airport building. Drives me nuts..... Mitch

That was a beauty!!!!!!! 😂 Sounds like one of my "friend's" questions..... Mitch

I am as well. We use LevelD 767 as the base package.

Ummm, your own words there Fredo. Let's get back on topic. I believe we've diagnosed this gentlemen's problem. I hope this helps him. Mitch

What’s funny about your post is you play FSX when the two greatest platforms ever developed were FS9 & XP11. Poetic Justice. 🤣🤣
