  1. Homework assignment: https://forum.simflight.com/topic/64337-weathervaning-taxi-wind-control-fsx/
  2. Maybe because your commenting in the FS2004 forum and you’ve only use FSX? 😳
  3. Your referencing the real aircraft in the real world. I m referencing unrealistic gaming conditions which FSUIPC has a specific function to correct. I do not know for sure if this is the gentlemen’s problem or not. If it is, this issuer has been known for years and is exactly why Pete Dowson added the ability to dampen these unrealistic winds.
  4. No, my guess is that its FSUIPC. Make sure, since your flying a very small air frame, that you go into the settings that correlate to wind effecting your aircraft. I think its "Wind Smoothing" but I may be wrong. Had similar experiences where a 757, and or larger, was similarly blown to one side or the other due to what your describing. Try this. If it doesn't help I'll look further into this for you. Rest assure its a known issue and can be remedied. Mitch
  5. Darren, don't bother. I think your catching onto this "fellow" like I am. Also goes by another name that starts with the letter "C". Mitch
  6. Nor do you need it. Get FS9, and all the addons and you will be light years ahead of FSX. Hope this helps. By the way, FSX was a "crayon" answer to FS9. That is why Microsoft gave up. That said, they are attempting a comeback with their recently advertised project in development.
  7. crichey, best to re-boot and use the "zibo mod" for FS9. If you don't have it, you can get it here:
  8. Without doubt, LevelD767 (757). 757 Mitch
  9. Out of business? Unable to afford hosting the website? Not sure. Sad indeed. Mitch
  10. Yes, but have you given consideration to the bird movement after the engine strike? I would compose 2 different sound packs. One for CFM, and the other for IAE. Just make sure you divide the sum by the wave movement in the given area. Altimeter readings should also be added. As an example and in sound file: [Airborne_CFM] filename=birddoodle1 flags=121300 link=Engine_Sound1CFM [Airborne_IAE] filename=birddoodle1 flags=121300 link=Engine_Sound1IAE [Airborne_CFM] filename=birddoodle2 flags=121300 link=Engine_Sound2CFM [Airborne_IAE] filename=birddoodle2 flags=121300 link=Engine_Sound2IAE And don't forget to add the entry "pterodactyl=1" or the sound might seem muffled. Hope this helps
  11. Thank you Hans. He's wearing us out. 😉
  12. Hans, You were being helpful and I was kinda teasing. Apologies again. Mitch
  13. My apology. I do not have that problem sir. That said, we are flying and not watching airplanes from the outside and how they interact with the runway. I meant zero disrespect to you Hans. I simply do not worry about how the plane looks or acts like on the outside. I focus rather on our performance and what the planes look like around us. Mitch
  14. Herald, many thanks to you and everyone else that has reached out to us. Happy New Year!!!! Mitch
  15. Start playing and report back your findings... 😂
  16. It is comments like this, and others, that press us to keep trying to figure out "how to make it better" at 4am in the morning. In some ways I'm exaggerating. But in all honesty, not really. Our main lead, and modeler David Rawlins, pressed me on many occasions to make my textures better. I can honestly can say I spent close to 100 hours (in do overs) alone on KJAX. David made me better. Everyone, thank you for the nice comments. Mitch
  17. Whichever program your using it’s best to run it on a networked PC. Mitch
  18. Yes, absolutely. As others mentioned FSGRW. I use ASE for personal reasons. But yes, a couple still work and work very well. Mitch
  19. Dedl, Thank you very much for your kind words. I only hope now we can persuade Aerosoft to add it to their AES Credit Pack like they have done for a few other freeware airports. Mitch (Michael)
  20. Everyone here is the link at Avsim: https://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=215602 Enjoy, Mitch
