Everyone we are finally done! Schooooo. It has been one under taking for sure. The package will be uploaded later this afternoon. Exactly. We've been down this road before and it always leads to a dead end. As a cockpit builder, I was asked to participate in a MSFS focus group some years ago as they were in the initial stages of developing FSX, Twenty-Seven of us in Chicago. Microsoft valued our input but left us to find our own way (all over the country) to the hosting venue. I cannot speak for others, but fortunately, I was at Delta at the time and was able to non-rev both ways. Moral of the story? They didn't hear one word we said as a whole and released the "crayon disaster" we now call FSX-P3D. I hope those minions are gone and the new team focusses on what "we" as simmers want. Michael

Folks, KJAX (Jacksonville International Airport) is nearing final release. I can certainly, without hesitation, assure everyone that this project is of payware quality. In collaboration with D. Rawlins, we have devoted countless hours to this project and it should make for a fantastic Christmas Present to all FS9'ers. We are shooting to release by weeks end. Current Status: TESTING I shot a couple of screen grabs this evening while testing in our simulator. Thanks guys. PS: Regarding the “ATL” texture, the default in that package, it appears I have the texture backwards. This can be remedied by opening the file in Photoshop or Paintshop Pro, selecting just that portion of the texture, and choose “mirror” from the menu. If you guys don’t want to fuss with editing and converting the file let me know and I will upload a fix. Sorry. Should have some updated images of KJAX this weekend. Looking for a release date sometime this month. 👍🏻 Mitch

Most folks do not realize the pioneer in flight simulation that AVSIM founder Tom Allensworth was. Some do. That said, we all owe a huge (HUGE) amount of gratitude to you, and your family, for sacrificing so much time and money so others like myself could enjoy your wisdom, your website, and ability to download the latest and greatest. True pioneer in this hobby that is shared by millions.

I've experienced this as well over the years with Win7. Frankly I just got used to it. For me it's always after a re-boot. And, after a re-boot, it takes oddly much longer to load. For me it's not an internet/firewall issue. Mitch

Hi Dillon, I’ve not experienced or heard from others regarding your issue. Your not running an ATI video card are you? Im far from an expert on scenery stuff and really just learning to be honest. I hope it’s not how I converted the textures. I really don’t know. I can send you the un-converted version of the textures and see if it helps by you converting them. Maybe someone with more knowledge will pipe in. Mitch
