  1. Yes the stretched out effect is still there. Apparently one can edit the camera.cfg to fix but I haven't figured that out yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. IMHO Your system should be able to run it fine. You just have to find the right settings. I've run the whole range of horrific to fantastic performance all on the same rig. Only difference has been the settings. You just had to find the sweet spot. I started by putting everything at its lowest setting and then slowly increasing settings and testing. Again and again. You will quickly find what settings hit your system hard and those that don't. I'm now at a very happy place with the sim running well over 30fps with settings turned up pretty high. Just took some time that's all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I am using 3 24 inch Dell monitors with my single GTX 760 card and with some fussing with settings I'm getting over 30fps with settings turned up pretty high. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I've been able to turn on FXAA in inspector (and off in sim) and then set MSAA to 2x in the sim. I get very good FPS with this setup and decent AA as well. I have a GTX 760 with 3 monitors and I've been averaging well over 30fps with most settings turned way up (except for shadows which I keep on medium). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. This happened to me as well. I had to delete .cfg file to fix the problem For me it seemed to occur only when I created a new default flight. As long as I allow the original default flight to load, I don't seem to have the problem. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. I was in a rush to install before I headed out to work. Missed the options button! Thanks Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  7. Funny you mention that. I installed this morning, and don't recall ever seeing a place to choose my install location. I have the same issue. I don't want it installed on my C drive. I was going to uninstall tonight, but I really don't remember ever being given the choice of where to install. Hoping I just missed it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  8. Per Lockheeds responses to the forum questions: 6. Can you please speak about multiple monitor and multi-PC setup for Home cockpits? What is the maximum number of screens we could have? Currently in FSX. We’ve delivered training solutions with up to 12 screens. With a lot of the advancements of Prepar3D v2 multiple monitors and screens have less of a performance impact, and we’ve also worked to resolve the ‘fisheye’ effect for wide view screens or views spread across multiple screens. If you have a custom setup like this, we also now let you define the horizontal and vertical FOV yourself in your camera.cfg files, so you can now custom-tune and hand-define your FOV to exactly what you want it to be. This was never possible before in a previous product. We invite folks to look over the v2 learning center in any license of Prepar3D v2 to see just how much customization we have added to Prepar3D. Does this not address your concern? I for one love this enhancement! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
