  1. Hi,I am interested in how RW pilots and the other simmers are coping with the situation when idle N1 rates are increased using anti-ice systems. What i do generally is, if icing situations are expected before the descent, i start my decend about 20 nm before i reach TOD point. And when i engage anti-ice, i catch my planned vertical profile later due to slow vertical speed because of high N1 rate.If icing conditions are unexpected, then there is no way but to use speedbrakes to keep the speed from increasing while maintaining the same vertical speed.Do you know how in RW descent planning is done when using anti-ice?Best regards,
  2. Great news! So the problem was related with local settings i understand, is it?We can expect it to be fixed in the next update i guess. Thanks to the development team and to you turkish guys working it out :)
  3. Yes that's very interesting :))At least we have a workaround as you say. I am using REX cirrus clouds too, and I unchecked the cirrus clouds box in install options so that I can install weather influenced graphics without any problem.
  4. After installing the beta fix today, i made a flight and did'nt see those annoying grey rectangles. Too early to say it's absolutely gone though, since this problem did not occur in every flight. I will make a couple of flights more tomorrow and report it here. Anyway, i am very happy i didn't see it after the fix. Thank you very much AS team, you are great.
  5. I didn't like it too. It appears to be jerky on my system (GTX 460 GPU)
  6. Thank you very much, i did a reset and it's ok now
  7. I installed driver 290.53 and inspector 1.9.5.7 and I lost all anti-aliasing in FSX :(((Reverting back to my old driver 270.61
  8. looking at your screenshot, i can say definitely we have the same problem.i finally got rid of shader 3.0 too after some headaches while uninstalling it. let's see if it will help. if it doesn't we have a serious problem then...
  9. i am also experiencing this problem. a horizontal black sheet is present in some of my flights, sometimes there are multiple sheets.it gets darker as i approach to it during climbs and descends. here is my original post with screenshots:http://forum.avsim.net/topic/356767-black-skies-with-as2012/Chris, i am sending you my mail address, could u please send me the solution you gave to doruk? Perhaps it might also work for me.
  10. I use Bojote's tweaks and there's this line in fsx.cfg:ALLOW_SHADER_30=1Does it mean i'm using shader3 mods?
  11. I have this black sky issue with AS2012. When below a ceratin altitude, the sky above is continuosuly getting more black as I climb. Then at some altitude, I pass through this black layer. Then after a certain altitude the sky below is black.Below are the screenshots:Previously I was using ASE together with ASE with no problemsMurat Okay
  12. Also, if I want to upgrade to 2700k now, i'll have to change my motherboard too, since it needs 1155 socket.I don't know what type of socket ivy bridge will use but i don't want to change my motherboard once again when they are released. So maybe waiting for the ivybridge, and upgrading both CPU and motherboard when it comes out is a better way to go.
  13. I want to ask for your recommendations about CPU upgrade.Currently i have i5 760 OC'ed at 4 Ghz and I get 30 FPS constantly but in lowered scenery settings. I want to upgrade it just to max the settings in FSX.I am thinking to upgrade to i7 2700K. But there's ivy bridge coming in the first half of 2012. What do you think, should i wait for the upcoming ivy bridge or upgrade to i7 2700K right away? Any recommendations?
  14. The original PMDG touchdown sound effect is a dynamic sound whose amplitude changes according to how hard you land. Will this be the same with this sound file change?
