Wilco + Project Airbus A380 Merge causes extreme lag
4 or 5 years ago I merged the Wilco A380 with the PA380 and had no issues at all with worse hardware back then. So I'm guessing too you did something wrong on the merge. Best Regards

Getting a new system for FSX
orcunizma replied to orcunizma's topic in System Hardware: PC | MOBO | RAM | CPU | HDD | SSD | PSU etcThanks, me too :-) I don't know why but when you think your finally ready to go and FSX is all set, another bug appears. This time it's caused by VSYNC 1/2 and EZDOK giving a slight stutter after switching external views. This issue is been known but haven't found a solution yet, any idea? Works perfectly fine without VSYNC but I wan't to keep it on. Best Regards

It just wont go!
It won't make a difference in performance indeed but to prevent buildings to disappear after a long flight Best Regards

Building disappeared with PMDG 777-300ER
HIGHMEMFIX was one thing and STALE_BUFFER the other. Scenery errors didn't appear at first, but after a long flight it may happen that buildings dissappear, by them combined together it never happened for me again. It was seldom yes, but it still could occur and that was reason enough for me to put this tweak in. STALE_BUFFER_THRESHOLD=2147483647 sets a limit, which is set very high so it will not be reached. FSX itself also has one, but it's not set high enough so if it reaches it, you'll get scenery errors that's why you set it up higher like the one provided and your good to go. I thought I'll just put it in aswell because he has this issues. By the way, FSlabs Texture Fix Utility also uses that tweak and I've tried both ways, with and without STALE_BUFFER but only them together really fixed it for me. Teach me if im wrong, I'm always glad to learn something new. Best Regards

Building disappeared with PMDG 777-300ER
Before saying anything bad about the tweak for me it fixed alot of scenery errors such as airport buildings disappearing after a long flight so it DOES make sense! Best Regards

Building disappeared with PMDG 777-300ER
Make sure to put HIGHMEMFIX=1 STALE_BUFFER_THRESHOLD=2147483647 under the [GRAPHICS] section Fixed all scenery problems for me Best Regards

It just wont go!
Try adding STALE_BUFFER_THRESHOLD=2147483647 below HIGHMEMFIX=1 in the FSX.cfg Also download and put uiautomationcore.dll http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?uiautomationcore in the main FSX directory where the .exe is and post your results Best Regards

Getting a new system for FSX
orcunizma replied to orcunizma's topic in System Hardware: PC | MOBO | RAM | CPU | HDD | SSD | PSU etcThe truth is I didn't even need to set any tweaks in the FSX.cfg and it still was running at 30 FPS locked without problems + all sliders to the max. But im using AM=244 just in case. Best Regards

Getting a new system for FSX
orcunizma replied to orcunizma's topic in System Hardware: PC | MOBO | RAM | CPU | HDD | SSD | PSU etcSo I will probably use the first one to make the most out of it, thanks for the help. Now the only question is if AM=252 is really that wrong or not Best Regards

Getting a new system for FSX
orcunizma replied to orcunizma's topic in System Hardware: PC | MOBO | RAM | CPU | HDD | SSD | PSU etcI've read it on the internet that AM=252 is 11 11 11 00 are you sure on that? And the system is water cooled and passed huge stress tests without issues I will try those out soon as my FSX is installed. So if I set AM=244 it uses all of the virtual cores except 3 right? Which in the second one only 3 of the cores, and the other 5 being left off Best Regards

Getting a new system for FSX
orcunizma replied to orcunizma's topic in System Hardware: PC | MOBO | RAM | CPU | HDD | SSD | PSU etcThanks for all the replies, good to hear good things about it ^_^ It's been sold as it is by the company which I choose because of the overclocking and 2 years guarantee on it. Just one last thing, is it okay if I would put the O/S in the HDD and just FSX alone in the SSD? Does it matter much except loading times in Windows? Don't have enough money for a 2nd SSD. Best Regards

Getting a new system for FSX
orcunizma replied to orcunizma's topic in System Hardware: PC | MOBO | RAM | CPU | HDD | SSD | PSU etcThanks for your suggestion Are you running in DirectX 10 or 9? Do I install both FSX and the O/S in the SSD? Or O/S in the HDD and just FSX alone in the SSD? How did you do it? Best Regards
