Hello, does the cloud.fx tweak with //volumize still work? I had some trouble with it. It was used in Prepar3d v2.x to reduce the FPS hit while paning a camera through clouds while using sparse grid supersampling on nvidia drivers. Thanks!

Hello i just installed rex into P3D, and well, the water looks like sh*t. Its squared, (literaly) too bright, and there isnt a way how to change it. I had this also in FSX, but i solved it there very simply, just used FS Water Config, which, obviously doesnt work with P3D. Soo.. any hints guys? Because this is extremly ugly. It looks nothing like on REX screenshots lol.. soo.. anyone?

in spy windows i get this "MET Unable to Extract and Decode GRIB Data" later that day, solved, at first i istalled it to program files and i got that message above, then, installed in C/Opus and working.. weird, but, i got that going for me which is nice "MET GRIB Data Extracted and Decoded"

yup, GRIB data doesnt download.. all defaults, firewall off they wont download

My opusFSX is generating totaly unreal wx data, well probably jsut wind, compared to FSGRW or ActiveSky, FSGRW generating almost same data as ASN, but opusFSX is generating totaly different stuff.. Is it just my settings or is there something wrong?

theres something wrong with your pc, because my friend which doesnt even have minimums for PMDG 777 is runing her without any OOMs (he have like 2 core 1.6ghz cpu, 3 gigs of ram, and he doesnt even have sliders to left) .. so reinstall windows, you are probably runing some kind of weirdo in your pc which could cause the problem

(its been said somewhere on forums) so after 777 and 747 will be finished, maybe 787 will come, if not boeing then maybe embraer or bombardier C-series.. why not? (altrough embraer with 1000 units build seems like a wise choice) or.. maybe... deep inside.. some bizjet?

so after months of trying and months of searching on many boards, i decided to write here.. Problem: basicaly, situation, flying in altitude (30 000ft) and if you swich to external view and look around, you will see blured terain. but under your plane its sharp and very nice. In some screenshots i see that some people dont have this issue (or photoshop?) so.. here is picture only thing that will remove the blurynes from FSX is MIPBIAS. but well.. then its a bit.. well.. weird? i tried almost everything but never solved this one.. here is my fsx.cfg http://pastebin.com/C6vn0g48 yeah, and i tried to delete and create new fsx.cfg and it didnt helped (same as full windows reinstall) So.. yeah.. if anybody ever solved this, or have any tips to atleast reduce it (i alread have LOD_RADIUS=6.5) please, share your tweaks and tips.. in FSUIPC in weather tab disable turbulence something.. i really dont know whats full name of that. Common issue with opus or fsgrw

avoid BBS at all cost. useless VC, bugged systems, ugly visuals, badly modeled VC. Aerosoft, have nice VC, simulating normal procedures, flight from point A to B.. i dont know how much is realistic or not, i never flied with real Airbus and so far its nice to handle i dont care about "thats not realistic".. and the price is low, which is nice. FSLabs airbus, about i know nothing unless many posts about "most realistic airbus" it keeps me calm. Im not interested into any emergency situations etc.. But if it can fly normal ops better than Aerosoft bus i may consider switching into it. But intil then im calm. Next bus (probably) on horizon is NLS A380, (reincarnated few day back) nice shots on their FB page.. So far i would you recommend to wait untill FSLabs will release their bus and you will see.

i found it way stable (3 flights above 11 hours, switching views, playing with systems, no CTD) after uninstaling FTX Global. With FTX Global i was keep getting CTDs on approach every time when flight was longer than 6-7 hours..

mine crash has done by terrain.dll i uninstalled ORBX FTX Global (as i read on several boards that terrain dll error is caused either by unstable overlock or any mesh - edditing addon or smillar things what can be "uncompatible" with some sceneries) also as somewhere is writed i tried another version UIAutomationCore.dll .. i did a shot flight (6hrs) no error so far.. i will try 15 hrs flight tomrow and i will report how it was here.

i have VAS usage at all conditions of flight (in flight, on aiport [scenery) from 2,2 GB to 2,8GB never used more.. still got CTD

im having CTDs on approach with PMDG T7 too. Only at 6 hours of flying and more (i mean, full 6 hours not a 6 hour flight done by "autocruise" under 2 hours.. flight to hong kong (11 hours) CTD. flight to Dubai (8hours) CTD.. flight to zurich (5 hrs) no CTD Teory about "things getting loaded on approach is wrong) because scenery at HKG is very sparse nothing like FT Dubai quality so.. To me it looks like FSX just cant handle this bird.. (i did full reinstall of windows and fsx) i didnt get a CTD for few weeks and then it started to happend again.. idk? waiting for new patch.. maybe it will fix this
