I noticed that PMDG Options is not showing in my FSX addons drop down menu. I understand that it is most likely a corrupted dll.xml file, but when I look at it in notepad++ it looks normal except the only reference to PMDG is "PMDG HUD" I have read that you can simply delete the file and let windows rebuild it when next starting FSX but am a bit scared to do it in case I mess up an otherwise good operation of FSX. Any advice would be most appreciated! Bob Palmer

Please excuse my ignorance. Been installing the new mesh. Have Europe installed no problem. Thought I would try NA (Canada) Downloaded the two parts to it. Unzipped Part 1 and installed into Addon Scenery no problem. But when I try to unzip Part 2, 7-zip tells me it cannot unzip to an archive. How do I add Part 2. Thanks! Bob Palmer

I have just been through the same exercise and an even better config is to put Windows on your primary SSD and then FSX on a second SSD. I then have a hard disk for big scenery files and any storage that I need. The improvement is immense! I am not an expert but that config was what the experts reccomended. Bob Palmer

Just wondered when the update for the 777 will be available. It was spoken about a few weeks ago, something about a memory leak that had to be sorted, Or is the SP1d that is now available already fixed. Bob Palmer

I am certainly no expert, but I am surprised no one has mentioned Traffic360. I have it and it seems to give me a very realistic representation of a major air[port. Bob Palmer

I purchased my DVD from Flightstore in 2012 for which I have the purchase receipt. Presumably an arrangement will be made with them in order for us to update our 737NGX. Bob

When installing Saitek X52Pro Joystick and Throttle software I have had two Win 7 64 crashes such that I had to reinstall Win 7 completely. When first plugging in the usb cable from the throttle should I let windows search and install its basic drivers and then get the latest drivers from Saitek and install over. Or, would it be better to stop the windows basic install and just install the latest from Saitek. Any advice would be much appreciated as having to keep reinstalling windows is getting a bit much! Hello Jim Thanks for your reply. I had already cancelled UAC (slider at bottom) and Action Centre UAC unticked. I have FSX starting as administrator (box ticked in compatibility tab). Although where it says "privilege level" it is ticked but greyed out. Should the "run in compatibilty mode be set to Win 7? Bob

I have just installed FSX on a new computer on a dedicated SSD. Win 7 Home Premium 64. When checking some default aircraft I see that the Piper Cub only shows as a skeleton. All the other default aircraft are ok as well as some payware addons. Does anyone know why this might be. I noticed that SDK was not installed during the installation, but I remember that the last time I installed FSX on my old computer it was. That seems to be the only difference that I have noticed up to now. Could that be the reason? Bob
