  4. 203 GB ^_^ on a secondary 1 TB hybrid hard drive
  5. Congrats!now that you satisfied with your frames, here it begins the oom and VAS usage pains
  6. I just jumped from a cooler master hyper 212 to a Swiftech H220. I improved my temps of 15 degrees with a i7 2600k @ 4.8
  7. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/431663-vas-fsuipc-and-fsx/ you can monitor the vas usage using this method and while fsx is running. it shows the free amount of vas. sorry if i talked about virtual memory, i meant Virtual process. asanal, I'll write to Word Not Allowed's blog to have an opinion from him. and yes, this is happening only with vectors
  8. I've already done it. I just wanted to share it here too
  9. Hi everyone I want to share with you this video i made showing the Vector's huge amount of vas usage . I choosed Amsterdam because it has very complex coastlines. Tell me there is something wrong because I can't believe a product like this is taking me 800 mb of VAS http://www.youtube.c...h?v=KVS3ArJX7bg p.s. sorry for video quality but i just wanted to show the numbers
  10. I use DX9. In nvidia inspector i set 8xS and 2x Sparse Grid Supersampling. That's a normal setting for Anti aliasing. However i didn't have this problem with AS2012. ASN is using much more detail clouds than the previous version. Will a new GPU like the 780TI performe better with AA?
  11. Hi I have this problem i can't manage to solve. The other day I upgraded to Active Sky NEXT from AS2012 which didn't give me any problem. When I'm flying over a Thunderstorm or a big amount of clouds and I look at the horizon, the frames suddenly drop from 30 to 6 - 10. This is happening with any aircraft and with any REX cloud resolution. I noticed that at the moment the frames drop the PC fans start to run soo fast. Also, When I switch the antialiasing supersampling from 2 x sparse grid to OFF I don't have the problem anymore. I reinstalled the drivers in the correct way but nothing changed. I tried to use REX for live weather update and the frames drop is still present but not so drastically. Do you have any idea of the possible solution? Could active sky be using currupt files from REX? Or graphic card issue? Thanks Federico
