Kriss, could you explain how you solved the problem? I'm still stuck with this hellicopter. I don't see that so called "transmission clutch". I'm following the Start-Up checklist and I'm seeking aid from the Panel Layout Overview.

Well, I only did two tests, in the second one I got avg 18, and I decided to stop testing and wait for AMD to release drivers to continue testing. I'll see if I can test the HD7970 on my friends i7 2600K.

Hello guys, I currently have the video card (HD7970) how ever there are no drivers available at the AMD website so I will wait for them to come up with the 79xx version of their Catalyst software to then proceed with the benchmark. How ever I ran the benchmark, after a clean FSX installation with Service Pack 2 (no Deluxe Edition) and after following all the steps from the PDF file that came with the folder for the benchmark. I ran it two times and my results wereFrames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg (No FSX.CFG modificaton) 5117, 300000, 11, 28, 17.057Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg (Aft FSX.CFG modification as indicated by the PDF file) 5459, 300000, 11, 32, 18.197 My system specs are CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T @ 4.0 GHz RAM: 2X4GB 1600 MHz GPU: Power Color HD7970 3gb HDD: Western Digital 7200 rpm 1TB

Guys, i want to apologize for the delay on the testing results I promised to show. I have not being able to do the testing because UPS has not yet delivered the graphics card which I was suposed to receive on friday. I believe I will get it by monday. Again, my apologies.

I'll try that benchmark and make a video of it. I guess I'll have to use my camera since FRAPS takes a lot of FPS, so I'll have to use it only for the benchmark. But I will be making more FS videos, you can check some at my current youtube channel www.youtube.com/user/wilfredotour3 .

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll take them into consideration. My current spects are CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T 4.0 GHz, RAM 8 GB 1600MHz Corsair Vengeance, and today will get my HD7970. Testing will be performed at 1080p, so I'm a little skeptic about reaching awesome FPS as my CPU isn't too good. With my current Dual HD6850s in crossfire config, I'm more than happy with the results at 720p, and at 1080p it is also good except when I go to one of those big addon airports in an FPS killer like the 737NGX from PMDG.

I'm receiving my HD7970 today. I will test FSX and make a video about the performance. Any suggestions for the testing? Like, addons?
