This news really angers me. I've been waiting for FLIGHT to allow Force Feed Back in devices since release. Specifically my Logitech G940 flight system, which i bought after FLIGHT, in hopes of flying the maule over alaska one day. The stick is just limp when I try to play FLIGHT, because of no FFB. I cant fly with a limp stick, can you?

I really dont see the problem with this non-vc zero. Flight is going to have a ton of DLC, theres going to be something for everyone. I enjoyed flying my non-vc Mustang around the islands to get some aerocaches. The speed was a nice break from the slow and pokey Icon and Maule. But I also enjoy flying the Maule on cargo missions, memorizing the checklists, and flying as well as I can. Depends on the mood I suppose. So far I dont see the Zero on the Marketplace, but i'm going to get it and show it off in multiplayer today. hehe

Sorry for the late reply, but I think I have something useful to add.I recently reformatted, and upon firing up Flight for the first time I took note of single card performance. Then I set my CCC profile for Flight with AFR Friendly, and noticed no increase in FPS. This is what I noticed, in single GPU mode, usage is 99% with fps steady around 20fps. In cfx, usage is 60% per card with dips down to 20fps but 40fps if the plane is flying straight, as in not looking around loading new scenery.

I was wondering if your copilot can fly the plane during those long cruises across islands? If so, how can you get them to do it?Thanks!

Oh wow! I've been chatting with my mates about how much I'd love to fly around Alaska in MSF. After watching the show 'Flying Wild Alaska' I am super pumped for this!And the screenshots look immensely better than Hawaii does currently. I hope these aren't an 'artists renderings'

This worked for me as well. I am not getting a huge increase in FPS over a single 6970, so obviously its not scaling too well right now.My fps would dip into the teens when doing some gold rush challenges on a single gpu, now my lowest is 25fps. As far as im concerned, i've gone from 18fps to 26fps.Hopefully it will just get better with time.

Any news on crossfire support for MSF? or is there some work around with radeonpro that im not aware of

This isn't an official answer but, Clandestine missions are rare and only show up at runways without control towers. So basically just keep looking till one pops up is what I did.

I am trying to unlock the black paint scheme for the Icon A5. The requirement states I need to "Complete all Flight Tips"Thats what has me confused, what exactly are these 'flight tips' I've completed all tutorial, challenge, and missions. But i havent seen a 'flight tip' anywhere.So what is it?Thanks

Yup, thats the po po! They nailed me twice, had to re-route on my third try. Ended up going around a volcano taking much more time. The direct route isnt always the safest. I figured I should stay away from other airports and towns. So i made sure there was nothing but tree tops below me.Oh and make sure you dont have your lights on!

I've got the same problem. It'll be smooth then stutter for 3-4 seconds, then back to smooth at low altitude. running it on highest settings with a i7 2700k @ 4.7ghz and cf 6970 (MSF only uses one card though)

I just started the 'Maule Landing Challenge 3' in FLIGHT, it is kicking my &amp;@(&#036;*! I'm a huge fan of Flying Wild Alaska (Team Ayla! Ariel annoys me) anyways... I discovered crabbing watching that show. Your tips make it possible for me to actually get a decent attempt at that runway blanketed by trees. I feel like Jim Tweto landing offrunway in FWA, trying to land that Maule with those sidewinds. Yes I had it working last night perfectly. This is very strange. The controller responds and functions as normal in other games (Alan Wake was perfect.) It worked randomly just now, but again, randomly the right D-Pad functioned as a POV as well as elevator trim! Trying to change the mapping in this game is strange as nothing really seems to do what I want it to. This is how I got the game to work with a controller. I run the game with a wireless 360 adapter plugged in, wireless controller does not repsond, close the game, plug in wired controller to USB, start the game, wired controller works with the game. plugging the wired controller in first and starting the game does not work. bizarre!

Hello AVSIM!! I just bought FLIGHT last night and I'm loving it!So I try to start Flight today with my wired xbox controller and doesn't control the game anymore. The game recognizes it in the drop down box but when I try to map a button to it, the game doesn't respond. Its clearly not receiving commands from my controller. The controller cannot navigate the menu at all. And when flying, none of the buttons do anything except the left joystick. the left joystick is the only function that seems to have remained.I tried both my wireless and wired controller. restarting, unplugging, and run as admin but to no avail. Same thing for both. Does the same thing with 3 different wireless controllers and the one wired controller.any suggestions to get this gamepad to work again? thanks very much, and thanks AVISM for having a Microsoft flight dedicated forum!
