  1. The passenger says we've been identified & the mission ends. Personally, I'd like to know what this cargo is & how I got wrapped up in the racket. I guess I needed the money.
  2. I've used M to get closer to an aerocache but I didn't think of using M to avoid hitting a cliff after grabbing a hard to reach aerocache.
  3. He also says "Can we just fly normal bro?" (or something like that)
  4. Wow! Great bunch of people here with a lot of Flight knowledge and experience! Many thanks and safe flying.Jasps. I've read that Flight automatically manages air/fuel mixture but since I have a Saitek quadrant with 1 remaining axis open, I may assign that to mixture.
  5. She's the worst kind of complainer - passive aggressive. Listen to the way she talks to her patient. Of course it could just be my flying. More often than not the patient vomits in the plane.
  6. Too much atmosphere if you ask me. All the female passengers are complainers, the nurse in particular.
  7. Thank you for the replies. I'm aware of the checklists and I have run through them but my point was that adjusting RPM doesn't seem to do much other than change the pitch of the blades chopping the air. No real noticeable change in speed.
  8. The Clandestine Cargo missions rarely pop on the job board. Just keep checking the grass runway airports with no towers. When I saw it for the first time, I ignored it, then later wish I would have done it right away because it is rather rare. It took me a long time to find the next one. At first I thought they were only at night (keep your lights OFF at night), the mission I actually completed the first time was during the middle of the day. I'd venture to guess you can NEVER take the direct route. Each time I have, Flight throws an airborne Sheriff at me which I haven't been good at avoiding, basically I think you have to make a 90 degree turn at the first sight of authorities and go quite a bit out of your way. The mission I actually completed, I didn't run into any airborne Sheriff but I purposely took an indirect route from the start. If the Sheriff gets within .1nm from you, toast. Oh by the way, love the paint scheme unlock. Most of the kids don't have it (lack of patience) & I like to toy with them sometimes :)
  9. When performing the scenic tour with the crop duster and using waypoint advancement, the female passenger always complains about high altitude which the waypoint advancement placed me at. Is there a point to that? I looked in my cockpit & couldn't find a heater switch. Clearly she wants a lower altitude but why does waypoint advancement place me so high in the first place if she doesn't like it?Thank you,Jas
  10. I got within 2nm before I could climb any further which isn't saying much as that was only around 38k feet altitude. Double that is required to reach the location of that aerocache.
  11. There are a few Aerocache locations in a deep cavity or by a waterfall that are fairly difficult & took me many approaches. One was downright impossible and I had to find a tiny patch of grass to throw down my crop duster & get out and walk to the aerocache.
  12. I thought I knew what prop RPM was for but at this point I'm at a loss as to when I should increase it, when I should decrease it (with respect to speed, altitude, power, situations). If someone could clarify, I would appreciate it.Thank you,Jas
  13. I'll watch your videos later, but I wanted to say in advance - nice job. Totally agree Gold Rush is a quick way to accumulate points. Hilo is easy for getting gold. The Wind farm I consider medium difficulty. Finally Ford, island in Pearl Harbor is extremely difficult (& a bit frustrating I might add). The bi plane/crop duster (sorry, I don't know my plane names very well) seems to be the best for Gold Rush challenges. No other plane can maneuver like it. The only thing that makes me nervous about Gold Rush is it seems to take a toll on my flight yolk. So far it's standing up to the beating and I"m trying to fly as gentle as possible.I'll tell you what, I really miss rudder control right now.Jas
  14. I've been simming off and on for many years but I've never been to FS forums. What is Track IR and Toe Brakes? I currently use a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System.
  15. I reached level 20 504,111 XP tonight while trying to perform challenges to unlock paint schemes.57 Aerocaches33 of 106 Awards11 of 32 Achievements236 landings17.41 flight hours2,501nmScreenshot:http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7186/6966019955_ab71593f1e_b.jpg
