tonywob, thanks for the response. I DO have all scenery linked. Custom scenery is showing all tiles. I would like to see all completed tiles in the Earth Tile Map when I open Ortho4xp. Because I have two separate installs of Orth4XP on two separate 4TB external drives, this seems not to be possible.

Chas, I was hoping for a simple yet similar solution to what I would like to do. Simply put, have ONE map showing all the tiles for both installs of Ortho4xp? Hoping for too much?

Adam, Did you get the answer you were looking for? It's quite simple actually. Start WED. Create new scenery with the name of your airport. Go to next screen. Import from Gateway and have fun. Always make a new scenery not just import so if you make a mistake you can just delete from custom scenery. Hope this help. Keep us posted. Everyone....I spent the day figuring out my issues. First, I use 3 separate monitors. Sometimes I do use all 3 in XP for full surround visuals. BUT, if I am only flying on 1 monitor, it MUST be the main monitor in XP and the #1 monitor in windows 10. Once I got this, all is fine. So, apparently Windows 10, XP11 & GTN need to learn to play nice together. :)..so for multi monitor set-ups, XP11=Main Monitor & Windows 10=#1 monitor in setup. Jean-Luc, thanks for your patience and wonderful support and thank you my friend for an absolute magical add-on to the sim. I am a RW pilot and this just makes my training that much more precise. ster100..welcome to the world of X-Plane. AI traffic is kind of iffy in XP11. There are many great add-ons to get. Where do you fly and what types of airplanes mainly, GA or Airliners? The reason I ask is, that you can get World Traffic 3 or X-LIfe mainly for the Airliner flyer if that's what you like to do. If you fly GA and not in a major city then maybe adding your own down the road with a program like WED will be good for you. What I mean by all this is XP11 allows you to customize most parts of the program. It a learning curve that will take you months to fully understand and longer hopefully since Larimer is always changing/improving the program. I don't know your history with flight sims, but XP11 is like going to an Ivy League school compared to a community school - (I say that with all due respect to FSX and others. I spent 20 plus years with FSX till converting full time to XP). Enjoy the flights and keep us posted on your progress.

trmii...you are right--and very smart--- multi monitors don't like the GTN series if the main monitor is NOT your windows 10 monitor. Thanks for the early Christmas present! :)

VFF, sorry to hear you are having the same issue buy very glad to hear I am not alone. Jean-Luc, I did move all the plugins away and same result.I was not able to move XPLM and XPWidgets. The sim refused to start with out them?? I also downloaded the latest drivers for the GPU. I will keep testing and report back.

also, would anyone have a guide to directory listings for the GTN 750? I just want to make sure everything is in it's right place?

Jean-Luc, just to confirm, I am running XP11 Version 11.11 Just updated. So I discovered that the panels will not run in full windows just windowed setting of XP Also tested multiple planes and all the same results. I just tried using the shift key and no luck. Panels will not work in full window mode. I wonder if anyone else is having issues?

Jean-Luc, Good morning. Yes, the latest version of XP11 and all aircraft. I will check later to confirm all aircraft, but, I know the Cessna C172, the vFlyteAir Arrow III and the Carenado TBM850. I will report back later.

I updated the GTN tonite and not able to click with mouse? Unit lights up to first screen with Continue button but unable? Anyone else having this problem?

Tony....couple of things to keep in mind: 1. How does XP run on a single monitor? FPS? Now adding two monitors then three? Inside settings, you can control 3 separate monitor views by setting the offsets. 2. Be careful though, on a single monitor I get 80+ fps but drops to sometimes below 30 even 20 with 3 monitors and trying to spread the view across all three. You will have to turn down settings to get the results you might want and I don't like to fly below 30fps. BTW, I am running I7 7700K with 32GB ddr4 and gtx1070 and still have issues with 3 monitors.

Alex, I touched base with my IT specialist and I quote, "When we went to the newest version of Win10 Fall Edition, it had 4.7.1 baked into it which appears to be the newest version out there right now. " Let me know and btw, love your program! Been using it for a few months and I don't ever go near the built in map for XP. Job well done sir!

My apologies for the delay.....a little thing called work has delayed my response We installed all the way up to 4.7.1 Microsoft .Net Framework. Hope this can help others.

Great news....system is back from the shop and Matt did a wonderful job. The problems was with the latest "forced" Windows update (Creators) and it decided to install another version of Windows Dotnet. That blocked any install. So, good news, no, great news is that the GTN's are working and database is running like a well-oiled machine! Many thanks to you for all your help and patience. Truly great customer support! Now on to panel integration!

Not at this time as I am being optimistic the shop will find a problem and all will be resolved. If not, contacting Garmin is my plan B...thanks for everything.

Good evening. An update. I am taking my PC into the shop for a deep cleaning and have them see if anything is blocking my install. Still not been able to install the Garmin Database. If nothing is found, can i just install from a disk i order from Garmin?

So I have been using Ortho for quite a few months and happy to say almost 1/2 of Continental done. Now, the question. Currently the completed tiles reside on a 4tb external. I have another empty 4tb external that I want to start using and store the rest of the completed tiles. I always make shortcuts to the tiles for the custom scenery. Is there a way to "point" to the new drive or do I have to install a new copy of Ortho? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

swk1959, I too have that problem, although I just click out of it and I am able to use my AP along the way..Which plane(s) are you having problems with?

Jean-Luc, apologies for the delay...I did check for current updates in Windows 10. All there. Also checked for SQL add-ons, all there. I really am confused on what is stopping the installer. I don't think it is a native windows problem as I have purchased and installed the FSX version of F1 GTN 750. I realize they are different but still? I appreciate all your help and I will certainly reply when/if a solution is found. Thank you again for all you have tried with me.

I apologize for all the problems....if you would suggest anything else, that would be great!

Try checking your anti-virus/firewall and make sure it is allowing XP to run

JYW..sorry to hear about your problem but VERY happy to hear I was not the only one. Have the same problem after the .8 update. I will looking for answer and will report back. All the planes start with power on and as you say, "slewing" everywhere. Very disappointing.
