[01JAN16] New Year... New Updates for the 777 product line!
Erm, PMDG, is you alive? LOL! We're almost in May. I have been introducing people to the PMDG products, purely on the basis of technicality and realism. I think they are waiting on the release of the 747 v2 though, before shopping. I don't know. But, one thing is for sure, and is that they are completely 'psyched' about the products derived from my simple description of adding life to FSX. Anyway, how far have you guys got? Still testing? Hehe! Always hard at work it seems. PMDG is amazing (the body that exist within). Greetings to Kyle! Hope you've been well.

[09DEC15] End-Of-An-Era: End of Life Information 747-400X and MD-11X
How much longer do we have to wait on v2? Could you guys hurry up? Lol! Need that ER and the 8i before I get a stroke!

Did I overlook this?
I am very much looking forward to PMDG's 747v2. I cannot wait to get my hands on it, esp that beast of the B747-8i. The excitement is overload! I understand that v2 will have better night textures, too! Simply wonderful! I haven't really seen this question posted anywhere on the forum, and was wondering if v2 will be DX10 compatible. Currently, v1 logo lights in DX10 mode does not work.

Wingtip vortex
There is no point in changing the length. I did a video playback and noticed that the length was longer than what I saw initially. It was perfect. Thank you for your time. Regards

Wingtip vortex
Hello, I don't want to mess with the flight dynamics of the aircraft. I noticed you mentioned 'position', but not length' of the vortex. Surely, changing the length shouldn't mess with the flight dynamics?

Wingtip vortex
It is not long enough. And, it's at the wrong position; too far from wingtip. How do I fix these issues, please? Give me a breakdown of steps I should follow in order to correct these imperfections. I'd truly appreciate it. Thank you! <3

I love this airport YMML. https://youtu.be/UGmIRenL6Tg- PMDG 747-400 @ Schiphol (reverse spray effect)
I completely agree with you. I was searching for rain replacement for a while, but maybe my search criteria was just too limited, which explains why I didn't find precipitfs until the above revelation. I've also been looking for jet effects on water surface, etc. Regardless, this reverse spray/smoke/dust effect shall do nicely, I think, along with my newly acquired precipitfs. Looking forward to simming quite a lot now.- [25NOV15] PMDG 747-400 Queen of the Skies II - VC Preview!

I hear you on that one, sir. Can you tell me if v2 will incorporate most of the already startup procedures for the aircraft (744/748)? Or, will we have to visit a truck load of docs all over again?- PMDG 747-400 @ Schiphol (reverse spray effect)
What?! There is an add on for rain in fsx?! *RUN GONE LOOKING FOR preciptfsx* THANK YOU!!!! I LOVE YOU FOR THIS INFO!!!- PMDG 747-400 @ Schiphol (reverse spray effect)
I used the default EHAM for this reject takeoff. https://youtu.be/hxois2rOMis I was messing around with the Ed Cox gift to us. This is the result.- [25NOV15] PMDG 747-400 Queen of the Skies II - VC Preview!
I want to match reality. If in reality the aircraft is void, then I don't want to be flying it. Lol!- [25NOV15] PMDG 747-400 Queen of the Skies II - VC Preview!

- Determining headwind or tailwind components
Hello, Thank you very much! I truly appreciate this. Regards Nigel- Determining headwind or tailwind components
Hello, Thank you for responding. I do fly with ASN, but only launch the application to make use of weather conditions in live mode. I never really plan my flights using ASN. I'll start doing that from now on if I'm ever going to learn about these components. Thank you!- Determining headwind or tailwind components
Good evening, When planning a flight, how do I know if I'll encounter a headwind or a tailwind? At what altitude and waypoints would I be able to anticipate the components of the latter? Headwind and tailwind are factors I never really considered until recently, especially on long hauls where it has become more evident, the need to educate myself about these things. Arrival times are affected by said components and I'd like to correct this by adjusting figures of nautical miles. Please, if anyone knows, I'd truly appreciate your response. Use example flights if you need to. For reference, I fly FSX boxed using the standard plan in fsx. I then fly high altitude airways, with 1-3 VOR waypoints (I usually delete everything else). I plan fuel quantity using the standard PMDG 747-400 rule: MLF= 24,000 lbs CF= 18,000 lbs Etc... and, so on... I never use online fuel planners. I like to use my pen and paper.- Windows 8 - Joystick Megathread problem.
Right, so I just landed in a ridiculous weather! Joystick did not disconnect and everything went well. It would appear that win10 did the trick. Instead of wasting money on FSUIPC, try downloading win10 while it is still free.- Windows 8 - Joystick Megathread problem.
Haha! This is ridiculous! I just upgraded to win10 after suddenly experiencing the joystick disconnection woe. I mean, I departed EHAM-VHHH ending up almost cussing like hell, because my stick wouldn't work upon arrival; wasted 13 hours watching instruments, etc. I fly with FsPassenger X, so you can just imagine. Currently crzing at FL410 in the PMDG KLM 747-400 from TNCM-TNCC. I'll let you know if my joystick plays up, though based on what I've read should have been resolved in win10.- TNCM-LFPO Corsair 747-400 Long haul Flight
Hello Guys, this is another video with Corsair this time. I had some texture problems as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bf02MRz2k40 Cheers! - Qantas 747-400 landing @ Melbourne
