  1. Yeah the “official” download function has been disabled for a while. But you can still download them using a 3rd party addon. Easiest is “Internet Download Manager”. I ended up buying it because it’s a great tool. You can try it for free to download all the A2S stuff though.
  2. Yeah, he is the EJ pilot featured in the Airbus cadet program. The final (missing) episodes were supposed to be with a different Airbus pilot (also called James). I also do not consider it a waste of money. The program is top notch - it would be such a shame if it ended like this. So much potential for future episodes and other training programs.
  3. Yes, that was the reason he gave for the delays about a year ago. It‘s a real shame we never get to see the episodes. An apology would go a long way. If I remember correctly, James is an active flight simmer. Is he on Avsim or anywhere we could reach out to him?
  4. Hi everyone, I guess I "found" Ben. First of all, he is alive. I was browsing some of the older threads last night when I came across this. Back in 2017 he informed us about his move to the Middle East and his new job at a radio station. Turns out, he still works there. The station is called Studio 2 FM Radio Saudi Aramco. He has a show called "House Blend" at 02:00 UTC and if you go and check out their Facebook page you will even find videos of him. The last video he posted was on November 7, 2021. You can even listen to his show on TuneIn I guess he did abandon us.
  5. I’m upset because the content we got so far was really good and I enjoyed it. Ben, come on, give us an update.
  6. Hi, you're saying that "many many many pmdg customers have this bug". This is not FS2Crew's fault. Something is wrong with your 777. Are you running the latest versions with all the service packs/hotfixes? Julian Roschlau
  7. I definitely recommend doing the voice training in Windows. Not just the first one, complete at least one advanced lesson. This has improved my accuracy in FS2Crew with any aircraft tremendously. I get at least 95% accuracy - I'm using a Turtle Beach PX22. Cheers, Julian Roschlau
  8. As someone else has already mentioned, you neeed to have a power source. Running on batteries is not enough. Please also note that it takes quite a while for the cargo doors to open/close. Cheers, Julian Roschlau
  9. Yup. In fact, you may also press the DEL button and then press the LSK next to ILS after you've selected your arrival. I usually do this when the FMC message pops up during descent. Clears it right out and enters the correct frequency. Seems to be a bug. Cheers, Julian Roschlau
  10. Hi there, do you already have the HIGHMEMFIX in your fsx.cfg? Cheers, Julian Roschlau
  11. As far as I know (and this knowledge is based on the 767), you can't store the RAT yourself. Has to be done by people on the ground. Not 100% sure, though.
  12. Look here http://forum.avsim.net/topic/419129-opus-weatherfirst-to-inject-upper-wind-and-temperature-text-file/#entry2780444 - Julian Roschlau
  13. Hi there, you should try adding the 'highmemfix' Open your fsx.cfg and look for the [GRAPHICS] section. add the following line: HIGHMEMFIX=1 report back. Have a good one, Julian Roschlau
  14. I'm sure he meant NEVER won't allow the a/t to be overriden at all. I like mine in ARM mode. Cheers, Julian Roschlau
  15. Well, it is one of the most expensive addons ever made and $90 is a lot of money for an FSX addon. It is, however, good enough to justify that price. So yeah, it's worth $90. I don't know if I would call it a 'bargain' but the price is still fair. Have a nice day Julian Roschlau
