I got the runway lights back with the new 353.06 nvidia driver. Need to test the sim further with this driver.

have the days come when they make fast productions, all eyecandy with no regards for performance, shortcuts for the quickbuck. No carenado for me anymore and they should watch themselves so they dont end up in the ditch. Bad rep is not good for business.

just wanted to pop in and say im very happy with rex 4. I did things wrong, settings etc but i can only recomend this now.

well, after hitting the autoupdater im beeing forwarded to something my bitdefender stops and tells me to go back to safety. I say take me there anyway and i get to download the updater that is a small binary exe 425kb and it gives me an errormessage "can not open this installationpackage. Make sure this package exists and bla bla bla" Bitdefender reacts to the log in and the autoupdater, at least here with me. its the 0812 it sais i need to update to.

yes whats up with that divious russian website im beeing forwarded to when trying to log in or hitting the autoupdate from rex 4. My bitdefender doesnt like that site, me neither for that matter.

im having problems with the autoupdater in rex 4 too if thats what you mean.

guess this thread is getting outdated and people are happy with rex 4, good. I bought it yesterday and i think im doing something wrong cause im not that impressed yet. Im wondering with the very very fast texture install if everything goes well. Its like under 10 seconds to install a theme. Im guessing its in the name textures direct it loads texture into fsx as i fly? Im wondering if i need to delete the rex 3 textures which i didnt and if rex3 textures are blending in with rex 4 textures. I read here you dont need to uninstall rex 3 and thats fine but im still wondering if my rex 3 textures are messing with the rex 4. I have the wx engine from rex 3 ticked and when i start fsx from rex 4, rex 4 closes and rex essential starts. Do i need to click fly now in rex 3 for the wx engine to come alive with rex 4 textures? I have a screenshot of clouds that makes me feel a bit odd and gives me a feeling rex 3 are blending in with rex 4 but i dont know how to post a screenshot. I cant log in to rex support forum since yesterday when i installed rex4 so i ask here. Some of the screens earlier in this thread are looking awsome but thats with p3dv2 but still.

Good answers, A+ on both counts. I didnt know i could use utx with orbx global with the norway combination. I have utx so then i will follow your advice and put it back. Thanks a lot.

Joeren, i used all these files, aon, norway mesh etc a while back when i had ultimate terrain x. Now I have orbx global and i dont want to go back to utx so i wonder about the readme txt regarding library entries, they all explain as if you were using utx, i cant find any explainations on library entries using ftx global and aon, aon ground, nsxII and nsx exclude, norway mesh etc. In use with utx you really had to mix the order, but now with ftx global do i just place all the norway files on top of orbx files??? Are you using the Norway files with ftx global? if yes, could you show me your library entries? Thx in advance.
