  1. Clearly you know nothing of undergarments...... if you had knowledge of these things you would know that the fruit of the loom flight model isn't even supported by Microsoft anymore and that's why Nike is better..
  2. I think you should have another look, there is some absolutely fantastic freeware scenery available
  3. I think it's great too, the only thing I miss though is the ability to print
  4. Chuck & John, this getting "too old"thingy...... I seem to have downloaded it too, if it is a beta I would like to go back to a more "stable" release say somewhere around mid 30's where I was smart enough to have learned from some stupid mistakes and still young enough make some more Merry Christmas guys! Scot
  5. Nice to make your acquaintance and nothing like a good old rippin' rant to make ya feel better I certainly hear ya with the Saitek issue's. I have the radio's, auto pilot, switch panel,TPM and the trim wheel. It is only thru the efforts of a fella by the name of Bill Sparker that I even got these to work with my x-plane. His tireless efforts now have made them also work with the 64bit beta's as well. Take the time to visit Jason's site AIR.C74.NET check out his 63 S35 Bonanza v-tail.There is a story to this particular plane that he modelled all be it a very tragic one that involves a crash It is an absolute joy to fly, it's free. And drop a line to say hello. He is a great guy and quick to respond to questions. He has other great planes there as well and they are all affordable . I am in no way affiliated or connected, just a fan. all the best, Scot
  6. I second Ralph's suggestion for the Ga you gotta have Jason's piper package Nine Planes for 15 bucks, the flight models are amazing and for that price it is a steal. Go to the sight I would also highly recommend the Cessna 150 for a measly 10 bucks is just a fantastic and very realistic ga to fly. While you are there the vintage beech v35 is a MUST and it's available for the low low price of .....FREE. I have alot of these planes in Carenado versions, they are pretty, but they haven't left the hanger since I got these planes because IMHO Jason's just fly better. The other thing I would be remiss not to comment is that the last time I needed help with one of his aircraft, it took him 7 mins to reply, not months like some others (in fact I've been waiting over a year to hear from saitek)but mins. this by the way was with the v35 which I got for free.
  7. Jason's aircraft are above top notch, and further to the matter his service is above and beyond the call of duty,
  8. Got the update, I noticed a difference in the objects in the scenery, all they don't represent what should be there for my area anyway they do seem to have filled in a bit better anyway. Vfr seems to be a bit improved I am noticing some highway signs that weren't there before. anyone else notice any improvements?
  9. @MdMax thanks for the pics they look great what kind of frame rates are you getting with your setup?
  10. let us know how it goes, 6 was a little short lived
  11. Hey Guys, I am trying to assign some functions in the cockpit to some un used keys on the keyboard. I have assingned the obs knobs for nav one and two up and down already, would like to do the same for the hedge bug but I am not able to find a listing for it in the menu to assign a keystroke to it. Any idea's? Thanks, Scot
  12. Don't we all Rob! My guess is that we may be in for a bit of a wait. From what I been able to gather the whole idea behind releasing the beta was to get it to the developers of our beloved plugin developers sooner then later so they could have some sort of a platform to test on. With out the plugins most payware doesn't seem to function, I can't use my add on panels. But I did notice an improvement in the 32 bit perfomance. Did anyone else? Scot
  13. Thanks I hadn't read all the forums yet and came across it before I commented
  14. you are so right with this last comment greggerm, it seems at times to be more a culture then it is a sim
  15. When did the 64bit version come out? My understanding was that a "select few" were testing the beta and that it hadn't been released to the general public yet?
