Terrain Mesh for Canada/NA
Thanks for everyone's input... It's all sort of overwhelming at this point but I think I'm going to try FS Global to start .... I also use the flight ontario freeware land class... It seems fairly decent for Ontario but I have never used the default land class ...

Terrain Mesh for Canada/NA
Hello all, Sorry if this has been beat to death. Looking for the highest quality terrain mesh for Canada and perhaps the entire continent if practical. I've looked at ORBX' work and they seem to be of very high quality. Are there others ? And do these also create a more realistic landclass ? Thx in adv Ryan

Turboprop/Light Jet Suggestion
I've been away from the avsim community for a few years now so I have missed a few things. I'm looking for the best quality turboprop or light jet add on available for fsx ... With realism in relation to the actual ac being my priority. Also I'm old school and prefer 2d panels. Any recommendations would be great ! Thx in advance Ryan

Hello ! I'm having a problem with accessing the level d menu in fsx. I get a crash to desktop.... However this doesn't happen every single time, but enough to cause some frustration. I understand others have had this problem as well. Any solutions ? I'm aware this is not the official forum Thx Ron

Alienware & FSX
ronsavage replied to ronsavage's topic in System Hardware: PC | MOBO | RAM | CPU | HDD | SSD | PSU etcDecent to me is 25 + frames in high settings .... I mostly use pmdg products as well as active sky and 3rd party scenery .... So ultimately I would like performance to be smooth in the most complex areas ....

Alienware & FSX
Hello friends, I've been absent from the hobby for a few years, but interested in returning.... I have read the software/hardware guide several times. And so Iam in need of a newer rig.... I've been looking at what Alienware has to offer as I'm not so technically savy. I'm looking at a quad core i7 with 16 gb if ram and a 1.5 gb Gpu .... What are your thoughts ? I would really appreciate some advice.... Thank you so much !!!!! Ron Savage

FSX Real World Weather dynamic setting and FPS impact
There is a setting in fsx options that will dictate the rate of change .... Also, especially lately the accuracy of the weather has been terrible.. I would suggest free software like FSrealwx if you do not want to pay for programs like active sky ... Just my 2 cents .... Ron
