I bought Airbus family immersion and had prepared v2.4 installed at the time and noticed that it did work but then decided to install prepared v2.5 after putting it off for some time. I now cannot see any effects of the immersion at all. I did uninstall family immersion then reinstalled it but see nothing. I have turned up the special effects to high in the P3d settings as well. Can anyone help me with this please.

As an X-Plane user myself and also P3d I will be buying this wonderful aircraft.

Thanks for that, I recently bought the Fly Tampa Dubai rebooted and was surprised how little impact it has on fps.

I got this when it was on offer but my old system struggled to run it. I recently updated my pc and tried it again. Even with my new hardware it does not run smoothly at all, graphically is very poor and when flying you seem to be bouncing around. The videos I have seen are far better than my gameplay experience.

Very nice, I am sure you will enjoy the FSX experience with that hardware.

I have the EVGA 660 superclocked 3gig card and it's just fine for me even with REX and other things. Not over the top price and much better than my old GTX295 is what made me buy it. Price has since dropped so I might get another and sli them.

I think the integrated graphics won't be up to the job TBH as I am unsure if it's supported. EDIT... the PMDG website shows that it needs 1GB of VRAM and as the integrated card shares system memory it's not good enough.

Those specs will run it just fine, I have pretty much the same but graphics card you list is better than mine. It might be a bit late if you have already got your new hardware but I chose to get the MSi Z77 Mpower mobo as this will overclock that 3570k to 4.2Ghz at the touch of a button like I did with mine.

I have a Hybrid drive on my system, part SSD part HDD at 750gig is more than good enough for me and it's fast too.

Downloaded this fine aircraft a couple of months ago. The VC is excellent too.

I think I am going for it as well, Downloaded their BAE146 recently too which is very good.

Thanks for all your replies. I have FS2004 as well but admit I prefer FSX, I also have X-Plane 10 which is also very good.

As the title says. I have also got 737NGX and the MD-11 aircraft has always been a great looking aircraft to me so how does this compare in general to the 737NGX Thanks.

I have a sound problem with 737 NGX too. All is well apart from when on the glideslope and it calls out 1000 500 400 etc it is vey quiet and I have to really listen out for it. My pc has 5.1 surround Creative Labs THX speakers running from the on board Realtek HD sound card. Al my other aircraft are just fine however.
