How does it compare with the DreamFlight version?

Update: I have been flying with the Fenix A320, LOD 150, Render = 120 (4127x1727) with FG on and FPS locked at 60 FPS and it has been SOOO smooth! Very happy so far.

No problem here with that either so far.

What I meant is that with good enough settings for me I was able to achieve 40-45fps 🙂

Right but with a 4090 you are shooting yourself in the foot 🙂 I was able to get that type of performance with my i9-9900K & 3080. You can't go wrong with the 7800X3D, I was always Intel and I would have never thought that I would have made the switch. I don't need 100FPS in MSFS either but 60FPS is PERFECT and a big difference for me.

Ah wow, you have a 4090... Your CPU is a HUGE bottleneck...Get the 7800X3D you you will so how massive of an upgrade it will be.

Honestly this 7800X3D is a beast, especially paired with a 4070TI Super....with 16gb of VRAM. LOVING the performance.

Just got my new PC and I started to do some testing and all I can say is...WOW! More testing to come showcasing the 7800X3D with the 4070 TI Super. Test Scenario: - Fenix A320 V2 - FlyTampa KBOS with VERY bad weather and lots of clouds. - 1440p Ultra Wide - LOD 150 - Settings mostly ULTRA with some HIGH. *For some reason, when using DX12, I get some CTDs... Test Results: *Note that these test results are WITHOUT FG. - Using Frame Gen I get ~110 FPS.

Getting a new PC with a 4070TI Super....Is FG really smooth? Trying to see if there is a reason why I WOULDN"T want to use DX12?

Would love to see if anyone else has similar specs that own the Fenix A320.

I'm not looking for 100+ FPS....I just want stutter free 50-60fps with the Fenix 🙂

Unfortunately I don't have piles of cash sitting around 🙂 The biggest reason why I am upgrading is because I need more VRAM... right now 10gb of VRAM is not enough, I hit that pretty constantly with the Fenix. I have never gotten the FG mod to work and DX12 on my system is horrible and keeps crashing when using the FG mod. the 4070TI S will give me FG AND increase my VRAM to 16GB. Just the extra 6GB of VRAM seems worth it to me.

Correct. Which is also my current res as I'm already using that monitor.

Hey all! I am working with a gaming PC company that is helping me build a new PC. What are your thoughts on the below? This will go with my SAMSUNG 34" Odyssey G85SB Series QD-OLED Ultra WQHD Curved Gaming Monitor. Coming from an i9-9900k & 3080, I am currently locked at 40fps, but I sometimes have a hard time achieving that with the Fenix and I do get stutters. I feel like it's not smooth. Think I could come closer to 60fps with no stutters with the below? That is my goal 🙂 If I can get ~60 fps and it's smooth in the Fenix, I will be happy! What is "edge sync"? I don't see that in RTSS.

Do you have the Fenix V2? How is performance because I am looking to upgrade to a VERY similar set up.
