  1. If you enjoyed my repaints, you might also enjoy my upcoming group flights. I encourage you to take a look at my post here, and to join in on these flights. Keep Flight alive!
  2. Dear AVSIM Flight Community, It has been a while since I last posted here on AVSIM, but I thought that it would be important to inform the Flight community here about my upcoming flight events. I am a member of the msFlights.net community, and I have a group flight event every Friday from 7:00 PM EST (UTC -5:00) to 9:00 PM EST (UTC -5:00). Starting tonight my flights are going to be strictly in Microsoft Flight until the multiplayer capabilities of the game are shutdown. The flight plans are going to take us to all of those iconic Flight locations. We are going to relive Microsoft Flight one last time, and I want Microsoft to be able to notice the sudden spike in server traffic. I want to fill sessions(emphasis on plural) with these flights. We are still here, and we still love flying in Microsoft Flight. I hope to see EVERYONE participating in these events. This isn't about trying to save the game, this is about unifying the Flight community and celebrating all of the amazing times that we have had flying with each other in Microsoft Flight. So let's keep Flight alive! Sincerely, DeathseekerDXC FOR MORE INFORMATION: CLICK HERE Information regarding these flights will be posted on msflights.net in the events section. Look for upcoming events with the name "Wonders of the World" or "FIGHT for FLIGHT!" If there is not going to be a flight you will see "FLIGHT POSTPONED" in the normal time slot. Volunteering to host and orchestrate overflow sessions will be greatly appreciated!
  3. I would like to welcome Novawing24 to flight.dpxpc.com. He will be posting his repaints there, and I recommend them to the community. I have seen his work, and it is very nice. He does a lot of historical repaints, so if you're into that...check them out. (http://flight.dpxpc.com/novawing24.html) In response to Air1, I would attempt to download all of the Neon Editions if you haven't already. I think that I did all of the Neons based off of the orange Neon Edition P-40. I could be wrong though, because I did those repaints back over the summer. Let me know if it works, thanks! Sincerely, DXC
  4. In response to Air1: Thank you for telling me that, because I had a feeling someone was going to run into that problem with the Neon Series. Does that happen on all of the Neon Edition P-40s? It sounds like a dependency issue and if it is occurring with all of them, then I have a lot of work ahead of me. In response to a1stogg: I actually have been tinkering around with creating a realistic metal finish. That is how I created the Spectrums. It was an accidental discovery. I can't add cockpits to aircraft that don't already have virtual cockpits, I can only change the way a cockpit looks. And finally, I will always try to release P-51 repaints for the Redtails P-51. I want everyone to be able to enjoy my repaints, so if I have any P-51 repaints they are for the Redtails P-51. I greatly appreciate all of the feedback. I know that I still haven't added previews for a lot of my repaints on the website yet, but I will as soon as I get a chance. I've got a 3-day weekend starting tomorrow, so I should be able to get that done. Sincerely, DeathseekerDXC http://flight.dpxpc.com/deathseekerdxc.html
  5. Okay, so I finally uploaded those last 3 repaints. I made a Canadian registered RV-6A on request from an actual Canadian, a carbon fiber RV-6A, and a metallic tiger RV-6A. Don't worry, because I'm not done with my repaints just yet. I plan to release a few more over the next couple of months. I apologize for the lack of previews on the website, I have just been really busy lately. As always, I love feedback, so let me know what you think. Is there a problem with any of my repaints? Is there a repaint that you would like to see my make? http://flight.dpxpc.com/deathseekerdxc.html Sincerely, DeathseekerDXC P.S. - We have some big repainters coming to the website soon!
  6. Happy New Year! As I stated in my last post.........I have some surprise repaints. Now, these aren't repaints that you might fall in love with, but you will definitely be starring at them for hours as the planes they are on rotate around. They are like the metallic series, only they are mesmerizing. They are my spectrum series, and I repainted the P-40 and the F4U. If you were only going to download one, download the F4U. The effect is more amazing on the F4U than on the P-40. Now, I know that I also said that I would be releasing 3 other repaints. They are sitting in a folder waiting to go on my website. If I can get to it tonight...I will......... So, please check out thee spectrum series, and if I get around to posting the other 3 planes tonight I will post about it here. My repaints: http://flight.dpxpc.com/deathseekerdxc.html Sincerely, DeathseekerDXC
  7. I completed my first of 3 repaints that I am planning to release before New Year's Eve today. I also have to surprise repaints that I will be releasing on New Year's Eve. Keep watching, because these repaints may start popping up on my website any day now. Thanks, and talk to you soon. http://flight.dpxpc.com/ Sincerely, DXC
  8. I was able to get some aircraft to "work". I too have problems with aircraft pulling to the left. It appears to be an issue with only the left side of any aircraft working. (Try using the flaps.) The 747 appears as parts floating in the air. I also can't get any sound out of any converted aircraft. But...I could care less about these issues, because WE CAN NOW ADD NEW AIRCRAFT TO FLIGHT.
  9. I was able to get the builder open as well. Fantastic work stonelance! Thanks!
  10. Okay, so I am planning to release another set of repaints by or before the new year (or Christmas...we'll see how things go). My computers are starting to fight back, and I'm not so sure that I will be able to produce as much as I wanted to. Nevertheless, I am working hard on these potential releases. Just for fun, I will give everyone a hint as to what aircraft I am repainting. Let's just say that I have never released a repaint for this aircraft before, and it has a cockpit... If I am not able to release the repaints for this aircraft, I still have a couple of very interesting repaints that I plan to release for New Year's Eve. So, keep checking in here and on my website for more updates as we near the new year. And, as always, I love to hear feedback! Thanks. My website: http://flight.dpxpc.com/ Sincerely, DXC
  11. Hey stonelance, I decided to take a look at my Event Viewer and this is what I found: Faulting application name: AddonBuilder.exe, version: 0.9.0.0, time stamp: 0x52b6b2ce Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 6.1.7601.18015, time stamp: 0x50b83c8a Exception code: 0xe0434352 Fault offset: 0x0000c41f Faulting process id: 0x2694 Faulting application start time: 0x01cf002d45fe62ba Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Flight Tools\Flight Toolkit\AddonBuilder.exe Faulting module path: C:\Windows\syswow64\KERNELBASE.dll Report Id: 84104ec4-6c20-11e3-a469-848f69c74789 I am running Windows 7 64-bit. I hope that this helps.
  12. I would really like to be able to see what types of innovations I can work on with this, but I can't get the program to actually start. Really great work though. Thanks for all that you have done so far, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with in the future.
  13. Dear Flight Community, I am happy to say that I have just released a large part, if not all of the repaints I was planning to release for the holidays. If you downloaded the carbon fiber F4U, you may have had some trouble with installing it. I have now fixed that problem...I think. If anyone runs into a problem installing my repaints, especially regarding a dependency issue, please send me a message or reply to this topic. As always, I love to hear feedback, so let me know what you think of these repaints. Here is a list of what I have just released: F4U Carbon Edition P-40 Carbon Edition P-40 Red Stripe Neon Edition P-40 Orange Stripe Neon Edition P-40 Green Stripe Neon Edition P-40 Blue Stripe Neon Edition P-40 Purple Stripe Neon Edition P-40 Deep Ocean Camo Edition P-40 Dense Tropical Camo Edition Carbon Cub Deluxe Carbon Edition I might release a few more in the next couple of days, but for now...enjoy. Thanks. Sincerely, DXC P.S. - If you don't here from before Christmas, have a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year!
  14. Sure! I'll give it a shot. You might see them by this evening, and I will post here when I have posted them on my website. Thanks for the feedback Heimi. Sincerely, DXC
