Dear AVSIM Flight Community, It has been a while since I last posted here on AVSIM, but I thought that it would be important to inform the Flight community here about my upcoming flight events. I am a member of the msFlights.net community, and I have a group flight event every Friday from 7:00 PM EST (UTC -5:00) to 9:00 PM EST (UTC -5:00). Starting tonight my flights are going to be strictly in Microsoft Flight until the multiplayer capabilities of the game are shutdown. The flight plans are going to take us to all of those iconic Flight locations. We are going to relive Microsoft Flight one last time, and I want Microsoft to be able to notice the sudden spike in server traffic. I want to fill sessions(emphasis on plural) with these flights. We are still here, and we still love flying in Microsoft Flight. I hope to see EVERYONE participating in these events. This isn't about trying to save the game, this is about unifying the Flight community and celebrating all of the amazing times that we have had flying with each other in Microsoft Flight. So let's keep Flight alive! Sincerely, DeathseekerDXC FOR MORE INFORMATION: CLICK HERE Information regarding these flights will be posted on msflights.net in the events section. Look for upcoming events with the name "Wonders of the World" or "FIGHT for FLIGHT!" If there is not going to be a flight you will see "FLIGHT POSTPONED" in the normal time slot. Volunteering to host and orchestrate overflow sessions will be greatly appreciated!

Virgin Virtual Group is now accepting applications for both pilots and staff members! Virgin Virtual Group was opened in January of 2012 and has been going strong and steady since then. We currently have over fifty active pilots who fly on the IVAO and VATSIM networks, as well as offline pilots who complete their flights using their AI traffic. We have many different types of ACARS support such as FSPax, FS Flight Keeper, XACARS and our very own customized ACARS system! Our friendly staff is here to ensure that you are able to get on your way as a virtual pilot faster than any other organization. We review and decide upon your application within eight hours, and we also allow a big number of transfer hours to our newest pilots to ensure they are able to fly bigger aircraft for bigger miles. We are known to be better at pilot relations and listening than many other virtual airlines. With this, we encourage you to take a look at our website and potentially fill out an application. Should you complete the application, be ready to begin flying in our custom fleet and using our custom ACARS within hours, should you choose. If this sounds like something you may be interested in, you can visit us at virginamericava.org! You never know, you may want to join our 60+ pilots! Thank you for your time, and we all look forward to receiving your application, meeting with you, and flying with you soon! Virgin Virtual Group Staff & Pilot Team

Frist of all I like to say this is still just a idea, I've opened this topic to get some oppinions from other simmers. Also remind that ideas and concepts still can be removed/changed/added. It doesn't yet exist! The concept of SimTeam: We all know these awsome videos on youtube from max737Ifly, FSXnoob, JRSchiphol, timflightx, cessna154, etc. I'm about to make some videos aswell but before I was going to do that I wanted to get this idea to get a chance or something. The idea is pretty simple: FSvideomakers working in an alliance (just like the airlines they show in their vids), what this means is that they will share tips and trick, but also work together in vids (online or with FSrecorder). Working this even out further you'll need a name for it, I wanted to call it Simteam (after the alliance SkyTeam), other possible names are ofcourse: Simalliance (staralliance), OneSim (OneWorld) or the Sim Group (the Virgin Group). The idea also includes alliance liveries (though I'm not so good at repainting, might need to ask someone else to do that). These liveries will be of any sort of aircraft (a320s, 777s, 747s, it doesn't matter which onces) ofcourse in original SKyteam colours, they can be any airline (even non-SkyTeam airlines). To give a idea I will upload a phhotoshoped picture of a "SimTeam" aircraft later! These aircraft can be used in videos. Now I want some oppinions from you guys, what do YOU think about this idea?
