  1. Well, I seem to have resolved my issue! I remembered that my monitor had AMD FreeSync, and I checked and it looks like it was turned on by default, which I didn't realized. After turning that off, installing newest version of the mod (.81), I'm now sitting on the ground in iniBuilds A300 at ini JFK scenery, and averaging 80-95 fps.....😎
  2. I'm using it now, no change for me from .80 vs .81, but I'm having issues all around, so don't listen to me, lol
  3. What are folks using for Low Latency Mode setting in NVCP??
  4. Oh yes, I was only looking at the FPS counter in DEV mode...
  5. For the life of me, I can't figure out why, but I've installed this mod and I'm seeing zero improvement in frames. I've followed all the instructions, have copied the .dll files, ran the registry merge, fired up the sim, switched to DirectX 12 and turned on framegen, disable V-Sync in the sim and enabled it in NVCP, but I'm not seeing any improvements in performance (with PMDG/INI/Fenix at a busy airport, still only seeing 40-50fps at best. Running a RTX3080 and 7950x proc. Any suggestions on what I can do?? I did previously use the DLSS swapper to swap to the latest version, could that be affecting it???
  6. Good morning, Would anyone be willing to do a repaint of the Carenado PC12 for P3d/FSX in the Quest Diagnostics livery? Thank you!
  7. I apologize in advance if someone has posted this before (I thought I remember reading it a long while ago but searched and couldn't find it), but I am having the following issue... As I am approaching localizer capture, as soon as I press the APPR/LAND button on the MCP (I usually do this when the localizer beam is one dot or less off) the aircraft suddenly and over-dramatically banks towards the localizer beam (causing it to go past it) then back in the other direction before finally intercepting it (i.e., if the beam is slightly off to the left and I am turning right to intercept, as soon as I press APPR/LAND instead of continuing the right turn and intercepting the aircraft suddenly banks to the left "towards the beam," overshoots it, then banks dramatically back to the right.) I assume this is an issue and the real aircraft does not do this? I have never noticed this with any other addons, including other PDMG addons. Thanks Michael Demers
  8. Thank you for your suggestion, Ronzie. I had checked and although I never created the script files, it appears RC did that automatically after I entered the info. in the c4.csv file and then reopened RC (and they were in the proper format.) However, that did not solve the issue...but I did end up figuring it out! Although nothing was playing when I clicked the yellow speaker button, I did go into the Voices section and click on the names to get it to play that way. It would say every word in the phrase that played ok, except for the callsign of my VA. That section of the audio file was just a bunch of garbled noise. So I figured it must have something to do with the format of the .WAV files that I created. Although I thought they were in the same format as all of the stock RC .wav files, they were not. They were encoded at a much higher bitrate, which apparently RC does not like! So as a sample I changed one of my files to 8-bit, mono, 11Khz, which encoded the file with a bitrate of 88kbps, the same as all the stock RC .wav files. Lo' and behold, it worked! I only wish I knew that beforehand, but now I will just need to convert all the .wav files I made to that format and all should be good. It will take some time, but lesson learned! And for anyone else that may try to do this make sure that are in the same format/bitrate as the stock .wav files from the beginning. Thanks again!
  9. Hello All, I have been trying to add a custom airline and callsign to the list of AIrlines in RC (so I can use it when flyign with my Virtual Airline). What I have done is made a .wav file of my airline's callsign and added it to every controller/pilot's voice folders (in the rcv4x/winwood folder). I then followed the instructions in this post, which seems to be the correct way to do it? I edited the c4.csv file in the data folder and added my VA's info. as needed. However, I am having the following issue, after saving and closing everything and then restarting Radar Contact, I can now see my VA in the list with appropriate call sign, but when I click the little speaker icon next to the name to hear it say the name (play the .wav file), nothing happens, no audio plays?? I'm hoping someone can help me before I start pulling my hair out! Thanks  Mike D.
  10. Hello folks, Hoping someone can help me out with (what should be) a simple question, but I cannot figure it out for the life of me! Just recently ventured into the land of repainting for the MD-11 for a VA I joined, all has gone well so far, expect for one thing... I am trying to paint the horizontal stabilizer surfaces to match the body, but I cannot for the life of me figure out where (in which file and layer name) they are located within the paint kit...I was able to paint the wings to match, but cannot for the life of me me find the horizontal stabilizer. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out! -Mike Demers
  11. Neither did I! But after doing some further research it appears soon after Boeing merged with MD in the '90s they started an upgrade program for the DC-10's, adding such improvements as a glass cockpit, and then rebranding the aircraft the MD-10.
