Thanks . This is all after my hit and trial with NVDIA inspector settings. FSX works like a charm without any hiccups with scenery addons etc. This is obviously what I am using not PMDG recommended.

Hi SpoonerFLIGHT, Flight Sim hobby reaches beyond the borders of United States. I fly over middle east asia and oceania all the time (infact 90% of the time). All my scenery addons are of the same region as well. (nothing basically in Europe and US except KJFK and EGLL)

Despite havinvg a crash on exit, not onluly with 777 but lot of other planes, I am happy and have no complaints. Why ? Because considering the volatile nature of FSX as simulator it's always a good practice to exit FSX after each flight or whenever you want to switch airplanes. So crash on exit for me = FSX working normally.

Hi Dave, Sorry but that was purely my opinion to the topic starter. I am not debating Xp10 vs FSX here. Ofcourse you guys have a different and better experience with Xplane 10 and you are free to share it with the topic starter. Regards,

I have Xplane 10 and I would urge you to reconsider your decision before spending 100 bucks. FSX is far far superior. Don't be fooled by pics from Europe and North America. check Asia, South Asia, Middle east in Xplane 10. ZERO !

OMDB has not issues with route uplink .

Judging by replies I guess thid simrate issue is pretty serious. However I just completed a flight from Los Angeles to Brisbane with 16x compression 70% of the flight time (running ASN as well). I was hoping to take the simulator to the limit to try replicate this issue but to my surprise I never had a single glitch of an issue during the whole flight. So not sure if it is FSX,777 or just my pc lol

Thanks Robert and to whole PMDG team. Happily supporting a great company like PMDG by buying its products. Hope we can sort out this 777 stuff soon to focus on 747 v2.

Tried Fiber Accelerator demo (only once although demo has 5 chances of 1 hour each) it messed up my FSX with CTDs So - uninstalled. Sorry

As far as I am concerned, beside Captain's attitude ofcourse I think ATC guy was a little bit of an A-s-s as well. Like when the captain said he was going to mike, he replied "Oh but you said you were going to Lima" - this is like pointing out a mistake to someone despite him already made the correction and is very painful in professional environment. If ATC wanted more assurance he could have asked like saying "Delta XYZ please confirm going to Mike" . Everybody makes mistakes so does that particular captain but reminding someone again and again of their mistake, despite the mistake being corrected is highly unprofessional.

As far as I know tower never advises a Taxi route, its always ground. Or maybe you mean "tower" in a sense for ATC Control tower ?

WRONG ! Imagine if there was no user forum, and you were requesting support from PMDG from their support portal, you would have to DISCLOSE your order no. with your email and that comes with YOUR FULL NAME and ADDRESS as well. Now this forum, is also PMDG's support forum. This means , this forum is not only for discussion but also for PMDG Officials to reply back to customers on problems and giving them support. So signing your FULL NAME perfectly makes sense.

I think OP only warned those who have not been following rules. Nowhere did he mentions that ALL people on this forum are bad. PMDG has not only only made it clear in their first post on the forum but also have reminded users time and time again , and time and time again.. and time and time again to follow this rule.

Totally agree with this rule Specially when it comes to piracy. Not only does it hurts developers like PMDG but it also hurts our hobby because developers are discouraged to put effort into their products if they realize that eventually everyone is going to have it without paying. But I see significant development in piracy protection in latest aviation softwares. and keeping in view the sales of PMDG's 737 and 777 , it will encourage more developers to jump onto aviation simulation.

Experience no issues as of now. No freezing, not getting out of control at 8x So all good for me. Hopefully other users can have their issues sorted out with this update.
