Ray, this must be very local to your machine. We have not seen any reports like this, and there are thousands of installations of this app. As Ian says, it should be using negligible resources, and we cannot reproduce your report on any of our testing systems. I suggest reinstalling the FMS Data Manager application. Brian - just install Navigraph Charts from https://navigraph.com/downloads on your main desktop. It runs as a standalone app, but can still track your aircraft position in the simulator (moving maps). Stephen

Just press Ctrl+N on your keyboard to toggle the panel visibility. In this way you are not loading the panel ”from scratch” each time. Stephen

Hi, Lots of factual incorrectness in this thread. The monthly (Unlimited) subscription is not going away. There has never been a monthly navigation data-only subscription. But most relevant to this thread - the yearly navigation data subscription is not going away. It will renew for current subscribers. We are not promoting it on our website to new subscribers as it is causing lots of confusion and support cases where users who actually want the charts app get only the navigation data. But you can still get this subscription if you'd like, on the account dashboard. We have acknowledged that the renewal pricing info is not shown to current navigation data subscribers, so we will update the my account pages to reflect that. So all in all - there has been no change in what subscriptions we offer. There was a change in pricing last year, up 9% for Unlimited and 15% for Navigation data. Pricing did not change in the last 5 years, while we have continuously developed our apps and added many new features, plus data support for new products and simulators without raising prices in these years. In addition, our data license costs have increased. So this has changed, and as mentioned there has been a change in which subscriptions are promoted on the pricing page. Just to clarify - the charts in the Garmin trainer are not Jeppesen charts but the free standard FAA charts.

There will always be some bias as long as we don't know the entire population or can reach a completely random sample in this population. Sampling bias is discussed in the final report page 119. However, it should be valid to draw conclusions about trends when comparing years. You can't add the percentages together since the same respondent can have answered yes to all these options. For this specific purpose we provide a separate analysis on the different sim platforms where we collect the responses together for each platform irrespective of version. The whole page 1 is relating to the partners that help distribute the survey to the community. Garmin and many others (like Microsoft or Lockheed Martin) decided not to partner. The headline of the page is Partners, mentions that it has over 40 partners, and asks the respondent to select which one(s) he/she has interacted with. It also reiterates: ”Please note that this is a list of survey partners - not an exhaustive list of all actors in the community.” Which Garmin app would you like to see listed under Charts addons?

EHSE is a VFR airport, Navigraph currently has IFR airports charts. Navigraph will soon offer VFR charts.

Navigraph Simlink, the latest version, works with MSFS 2020, so there is full moving maps support with Navigraph Charts in the new sim.

Simlink needs to be installed on your sim machine. Then you can use the Charts apps on any computer/tablet as long as both Simlink and Charts are registered to the same account. It should work out of the box.

It is explained in the report. It is a cumulative graph. It should be interpreted as 100% spend $0 or more per year. Approximately 90% spend $100 or more per year. 40% spend $350 or more, 20% $600 or more, etc.

Yes you can subscribe to the Monthly subscription at Navigraph and then cancel, which effectively is a one time purchase valid for a month.
