I need help with this, I know there's a texture that you can delete but I don't remember what it was. So basically whenever I try to fly in rain my screen flashes (flickers) and it has this weird dot in the middle of it kind of. But this only occurs when the precip. changes from light to moderate to heavy or vice versa. I also do use precipitfx, that could also be a problem as well, but not too sure. Any help will do thanks... And messed up the title whoops...

You don't have to uninstall anything, just reinstall which is going to be the hardest part because basically you're computer is deleting EVERYTHING, even folders (if I'm correct which is the downside.) So be sure to back up any files before you proceed! I suggest using Dropbox because at least you can just re-download your files there easily.

Yeah, I was thinking about doing it because I do want to try it out before others. Plus, its only out for a little from what the little app says. I also heard that it ran better. But I don't know. I'll try it later this weekend (maybe) and find out what happens if it's still there. I also was thinking of backing up my files (especially FSDT to a cloud of some sort but I'm not 1000% sure it will reinstall!!!) Yeah, that was one of my concerns which were obviously the drivers. I know they still have a lot of bugs from what I heard on fourms from Microsoft. Although, the joystick drop out sounds good right about now when switching from my home screen back to FSX... Hey Avsim, I've had some problems with Rex Soft Clouds + REXTD and ASN (if they are having an issue), but once I pass a certain height e.g. 4,000 feet, I can see the ground with visibility greater that 10 sm. Even though it was just foggy like 10 seconds ago. But once I hit a certain height below 4,000 I can't see anything... So I'm not sure if this is a compatibility issue between Soft Clouds, ASN, REXTD or something within the settings that I should change within ASN... Help is appreciated...

Just a general question, I don't have FSPassengers so I can't water land without the dang aircraft bouncing. So I heard that you have to edit the aircraft .cfg to something like a float plane or something like that but I don't know how to do that, help would be appriciated.

Haha it's fine, I'll need to upgrade my RAM soon anyway, but I might as well get a gaming computer all together... But I have fixed some of the blurries, the more I fly around the better the LOD is which is sort of strange, but it works lol.

I seriously need help with my LOD, and I don't understand how to fix it with other people's computer setups... So here are my specs... Intel i3-3220T @2.80 ghz 4 gigs of RAM Windows 8.1 x64 And Intel 4000 graphics The specs run well in rural areas and smaller airports averaging about 20 fps (locked at 20) Bigger airports/cities like KJFK will drop my frames until everything loads (about 5 minutes or so once I get in the sim) I average about 12 frames in bigger airports. But I don't really care much about the frames here, I really want to increase my LOD because whenever I look out the window, I hate seeing blurry textures and then they all randomly load in... I don't want to increase it too drastically, but just enough to where I can't tell. Any suggestions?

What does it 'fix' exactly? I may start a new form asking about how to fix the shakiness in EZCA, cus it's just not working in the Cessna.

Ok well it semi-works, the only thing that's missing is the 'shake effect'... Any thoughts?

That's what I was beginning to think when I looked through there website haha. But I do seriously think it is time to get a new simulator, one that feels I don't know. Like revolutionary for simmers I don't know. Sort of like Outerra where everything is like real world like. Cheers.

Of course it's not a simulator yet ! It's still a WIP, this is being built from the ground up! Check out their other videos, I think they are being sponsored by Boeing and LM. :rolleyes: for now we just have to wait and see what happens in the next few months or years. Maybe the airports will be up to date and we won't need to buy addon scenery for a much longer time and save us $$$ haha. Hello, recently I have noticed that my FSX is very blurry and I don't know why about 3 miles out. I just installed ftx global but it made my mesh very bad any ideas? Also the specs of mine: Intel® Core i3-3220T CPU @2.80GHz x 2.80Ghz RAM- 4 gigs OS- Win 8.1 Video Card- Intel Graphics 4000 Most of the time I can do away with good frames from 20-30 (30 in the air) (20-30 on the ground) I also have all default airports except KLAX which was just an AFCAD file.
