  1. I am getting the same message with v.15.2.2 when I start PSXT. I have the freshly downloaded version from the website.
  2. Hi Nico, I tested EGCC yesterday with v15.2.1 and this morning at EGPH with v15.2.2. I can report that the issues I raised seem to have been resolved. I no longer see aircraft freezing position anywhere, and I do not see aircraft cutting corners. This may be a placebo effect, but the overall movement of aircraft also seems much more fluid and smooth. Peter
  3. These are the data from a test at iniBuilds EGCC this morning. PSXT v15.1.2 with RTQ data. There were a lot of aircraft freezing in position, and some aircraft cutting corners. Almost all of the aircraft freezes were aircraft moving onto the runway for departure, and therefore not taking off. However, I did notice a few aircraft freezing during the takeoff roll. I did not see any freezes on landings, taxi in, or taxi out.

  5. I do have that version. I have tested at EGCC, EGPH, EGBB, and EBBR. At all these airports, I have seen many aircraft cut corners and freeze, particularly when moving onto the runway for departure. This morning at EGBB, for almost every second departure, the aircraft froze on the runway. Also, many aircraft cut corners and moved over the grass areas. The issue is definately there at some airports.

  7. Hi Nico, This is not exactly what the OP reported, but over the last few weeks, I have noticed a deterioration in the quality of the PSXT live traffic. These observations have been noticed at many UK airports, but not exclusively in the UK. The airports where I have seen this behaviour have good RT coverage. This is what I have observed: 1. Many live taxiing aircraft 'cut corners'. i.e., they do not follow the airport taxiways. I know PSXT does not know the airport layout, except the parking positions, but up until recently, live taxiing aircraft would largely follow the routes expected, but this happens less often now. 2. Many live aircraft now 'freeze' during taxi out, and in particular on the runway, and therefore do not take off. These frozen aircraft eventually get removed by PSXT or by another live aircraft moving over their position. 3. The incidence of live aircraft failing to park on stands properly has increased (i.e., they do not transition to live parked status). Live aircraft not parking properly is seen as either not stopping in the correct position and then being removed, or they end up in the correct area but start to rotate in a position and then get removed. I appreciate that a lot of this depends on the quality of the RT data, but the change in what PSXT is showing now compared to what I have seen previously is very noticeable. Peter

  10. Hi, the new version of PSXT, which will be released when Nico is back and when he considers it ready, works very well for sequencing into a traffic pattern at busy airports. I have done a lot of testing, particularly at EGLL. It shouldn't be too long to wait now.

  12. I have read the manual and the release notes. Having another aircraft literally just in front of me for the whole approach, and with a TCAS RA shouting at me most of the way down, was not what I was expecting with this update. I was hoping for a clear "bubble" around my aircraft, thereby enabling me to fit into a tight sequence without another aircraft close by, and without TCAS RAs. I suppose it is something that I will have to live with when going into a busy airport.
  13. Hi Nico, From my test flight this morning with v14.5.0, the airborne collision avoidance is not working. On approach to EGLL, I had a live aircraft just in front of me all the way down the approach to touchdown, when it was eventually removed. Peter
  14. Hi Nico, I am not getting collision avoidance in the air with live aircraft as per the manual 6.2. I have had many instances where a live aircraft was within "less than 4 miles, within an altitude difference of 1’000 feet" still being shown on TCAS and causing a TCAS RA; I cannot comment on the '“width” less than 700 ft' part of the rule, as I do not understand this. The option is selected in the UI and shows True in the parameters.xml file. Peter
  15. Hi, re the Auto Target FPS post above, what would be the benefit of using Auto Target FPS rather than a manual FPS cap? I use an FPS cap most of the time.

  17. V12.5.3. PSXT had a long pause at 38 airports scanned, and then again at 100 airports scanned. Eventually it completed with 99 thirdp and closed as I was in flight at the time. I restarted PSXT without a scan, and PSXT ran normally. I have sent an email with the relevant files/folders.
  18. PSXT never progressed to normal operation. I had to close PSXT and restart it without the scan.
  19. Hi Nico, During 2 attempts to scan the airports, PSXT hung and would not complete the scan. PSXT subsequently started on the next attempt without the airport scan. Peter
  20. The issue with PSXT being unable to read some of the MSFS2024 sceneries is now becoming problematic. I have the new iniBuilds EGCC for MSFS2024 and PSXT reports using the stock airport, just the same as for EGLL and EGKK, again both from iniBuilds. Whilst the impact at EGLL and EGKK is less pronounced, at EGCC, which has had a major change in the airport layout, including parking gates, the impact is considerable. This makes the new EGCC scenery unworkable in MSFS2024 with PSXT. Unless a way of enabling PSXT to read native addon MSFS2024 sceneries is found, and therefore aircraft parking the same as the scenery, my use of PSXT in the future will have to be reassessed. If I have to stop using PSXT, it will be a massive disappointment. Nico, I hope you can find a way for PSXT to read these native MSFS2024 sceneries, and soon.
  21. Nico, this is not an answer to the issue. I am fully invested in MSFS2024, and I do not want to have to revert anything to MSFS2020. I really hope a solution can be found.
  22. OK, thanks for the effort. Currently, I have PSXT showing the mkvy EGKK and stock EGLL when I have the latest iniBuilds MSFS2024 versions of these airports.
