  1. Dear flightfriends, Last night I was trying to bind my warthog throttle via fsuipc. I choose 'send direct to fsuipc calibration'. The problem is that psuipc shows the throttle movement and I disabled any assignments in p3dv4.1 but the ngx 737 throttle does not move what so ever. Is it normal to just sit on the runway and not being able to move the throttle of the 737 or should it respond immediately when I move the warthog throttle. I choose "throttle" in fsuipc drop down menu btw. Imtried a lot of things in fsuipc but the throttle in the sim stays where it is.... Thanks for your thoughts!
  2. Dear flightfriends, Newbie to NGX 737 and jetplanes in general here...... Last week I have been setting up my NGX 737 in p3dv4 combined with FSUIPC and LINDA. I want to use my Thrustmaster Throttle/CH eclipse Yoke and VKB Rudder pedals as controls. I got a bit stuck yesterday in trying to set up Linda and the NGX profile that is available. Is that Linda profile also directly usable for my hardware or do I have to set up the controls myself. I'm a bit confused about the NGX Linda profile and what it can exactly do for me. I mean, are there command directly binded to my Throttle or do I have to assign them myself. If so, what is the use of using Linda in the first place? Is there someone who has a Warthog throttle profile for Linda that I can use. I'm having enough trouble in learning the ngx 737 allready ;) Is there some kind of overview of essential NGX controls and the best way to configure them to my warthog? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! thanks Jozeff

  4. Hi gboz, Thanks for that! I'll try the LINDA forum. I noticed that in the linda manual that someone has written they use the warhog throttle and the ngx as an example! That should give me some direction I guess. greetz and happy flying! Jozeff
  5. Ok, so I installed Linda and downloaded the ngx profile. Looks very promising so far. Question: there is a profile for the NGX commands but I need to bind everything to the hotas switches myself I guess? Or is there a hotas profile for the Thrustmaster Throttle that says exactly to Linda which knob/switch is bindend to lets say "landing gear down". I mean, why should I use Linda if I can bind my axes in fsuipc and keybindings in p3d or via thrustmaster software? I understand that for 3 way switches (like on the warthog throttle) Linda is required but do I have to bind the 3way switch myself or will the NGX Lua file do that for me? I'm a bit confused by the matter ;) thank you for your thought people!!!! jozeff
  6. Great thanks!! I'll try that. Is Linda for keys or also for sliders and throttle? Tnx!!
  7. Thank you guys so far. About the warthog throttle: which commands have you attached to which button or switch. I mean there are like 800 commands possible in the ngx. I really dont know where to start. I also have voiceattack and fs2crew. Are these about the same in use for the ngx? Have been reading about LINDA and key programming. Should I use that? Thanks again!!!!
  8. Dear flightfriends, I'm pretty new to p3d and PMDG ngx 737. Have been playing (not flying...) a lot with fsx in the past. I remembered how difficult it was to bind controls to keys and joystick. I used fsuipc for that but every time I started fsx some settings seemed to have changed. Now I am trying some serious stuff. I want to learn how to fly the PMDG 737 in P3D V4. I hav a Thrustmaster warthog throttle/stick and an CH Eclipse Yoke and I have the paid version of FSUIPC. The PMDG manual says it's better to not calibrate controls in FSUIPC but in the driver/software that comes with the controller, is that true? Does anyone have a profile that I can use of at least have some info as how to set up my controllers. I have fs2crew installed also and, because I'm flying in VR, I am also very interested in voice control options. Is there some kind of template/example to use for setting up the most basic controls. It's impossible to control everything with the throttle I guess so the keyboard will still be needed (a bit harder in VR...) Any thoughts would be be very welcome! Jozeff
  9. Hello there, I like the mono vr mode in p3d because I have a gtx 970 and learning the ngx 737 and some nice weather effect cause stuttering in stereo mode. The mono mode doubles the fps so that is cool. The size of the cockpit however is gigantic and that does not attribute to the immersion. But to be honest I am getting used to that. The problem however is that when turning your head the cockpot moves slightly different from the outside world. I think it has somethin tot do with zoomfactormbut I did not manage to change that! Is there a way to decrease the cockpit size and adjust the zoom ( maybe ezdok or chase plane) in mono vr. I am using oculus rift btw... Thanks!!!!! Jozeff
  10. Dear flight friends, Using the native vr in p3d v4.1 for a few weeks. I do not see a menu while wearing my oculus so I have to take it of every time I change airport, weather, time graphics settings etc..... I read some people having issues with nvidia drivers and the vr menu. Do they mean the option to choose vr in the menu on the monitor or do they mean a menu that is actually visible inside the head set??? Thanks for your thoughts and happy flying everyone! Jozeff
  11. Hi, That is not great.... I have that yoke and I'm have been using it for over a year in AFS2 and win7. I never had any issues. Just plug and play anytime. I think it has something to do with win 10. Do you have another pc to plug it in.. the yoke should work without problems. Good luck. I'll try to think about your problem and who knows we can fix the issue Jozeff
  12. Hello all, Geoconvert tool has been released today!
  13. Helicopters would be amazing in afs2! Love this sim and love vr. Vr was made for helis.
  14. Will there be native vr support in p3d v4? I cannot find much about it....
  15. Thanks got it working! Did not read the manual to be honest....😉
  16. Dear flight friends, Have been experimenting with afs2 since it came out. In vr it is absolutely amazing. I'd like to try the dr400 because it would be awesome in vr! I installed the developer kit and dragged the right files in the right folders i guess. I do not se the dr400 in the game.....uhh..simulator:) Is there anyone who has some advice on the subject? Thanks a lot!
  17. Thank u guys. Didnt realise I had to manually check the 16 gb download of utah in steam!! Confusing because without this the state of utah was visible in the contours on the usa map but without the airports. Everything ok now. Tnx!
  18. System specs i7 2600k @4.6ghz 32 gb 1600 mhz memory Msi 970gtx 10% overclocked P5p58 asus pro motherboard 800 W high quality psu Never had any problems so far. Only problem is missing airports in Utah.
  19. Dear flight friends, Have downloaded the Utah content and it's absolutely amazing that it's available for free. Enjoyed Aeroflyfs2 in VR so far! The problem however is that I dont't see any airports in the Utah region. As far as I know at least Salt Lake City would be a takeoff option. I checked the Steam library integrity and also de-installed Aeroflyfs2 and downloaded the complete package again yesterday. any help would be greatly appreciated! Tnx Jozef The Netherlands
  20. Hello everybody, Really love afs2 and oculus rift. Super stable and the best graphics in any flight game/sim. Just enjoy flying and looking around instead of flightplanning and endless playing with complex flightsystems. A helicopter would be absolutely amazing for afs2! Will there be one in the near future? Would love to pay for one btw. Yours Jozeff Thank you
  21. Ok, thanks. Id still like to know if i can change seat position in native VR since flyinside is a true crash-fest like fsx in the old days
  22. Hello everyone, Have been playing a lot recently with Flyinside for P3D V3.4 and 3.2 and also XP10 and XP11.XPlane is pretty stable but I don't like the VR scenery in Xplane, it's all shimmering and blurry.p3D/flyinside look pretty awesome but have never been flying longer then 5 mins before crash to desktop.Changing location/weather/airplane/settings......doesnt matter what...CTD!My question is: the native VR support in version 3.4 looks very good but there is no interactive cockpit andthe position in de cockpit seems to be stuck in one place. Is there a possibility to change seat position in native VR?Maybe using ezdok or chase plane??Is it possible to spice up the graphics in native VR, I really like that in Flyinside! thanks in advance,. Jozeff
  23. Hello everyone, Have bee using P3D V 3.4 and its amazing in VR with flyinside. Have been tweaking more then flying however and wanted to try PTA in VR.Its hard to see the difference in VR sometimes and tweaking takes a lot of time. My question therefore is: does anyone have PTA presets that make a difference in vr and are you willing to share these settings/profiles?That would be great! Have used PTA without vr some time ago abd it is awesome. Thank youJozeff
