VSync and triple buffering!
I have 60 fps locked in Nvidea inspector But i find its odd, cause when i have vsync and triple buffering on i seem to get more stutters and also blurries. But when vsync is off and triple buffering is off, i seem to get really good crisp textures, no stutters but on like final approach the fps gets quite bad, like when vsync is on its so much smoother. I would love to be able to have both What im trying to say about the smooth but no smooth, when im in the cruize the fps must get so high, that when i pan around its smooth but its almost like when i pan it stops for a millisecond and stutters almost

VSync and triple buffering!
Hi all, So after a few weeks i was finally able to get my P3D where i wanted it to be, no blurries and good fps. Originally i had Vsync and triple buffering set to off, but i find in the cruise when the fps gets very high its almost so smooth its not smooth if you get me. After doing a few flights with Vsync and triple buffering on i have seen that these 2 settings seems to make my sim stutter more and also gives me some of those blurries i didnt want back. Is someone able to tell me why this happens?

Sim Settings
Hi all, I have been following advice from the great support there is on these forums, to get my P3D performing and also looking to the best it can. I used to rely quite abit on tweaking, affinity mask and fiber set to 0.01, this seemed to work in P3D v2, but now in V3 seems that they give me stutters and bad blurries. So ive decided to just restore my nvidea inspector profile back to its default, restore my nvidea control panel back to default, and attempt to just use the in sim settings to get the performance i am after and the crisp fast loading textures. My question is, can it be done by no tweaks at all? Just using P3D and nothing else. Is it better to lock your frames or leave them on unlimited, Is it better to put Negative lod i think it is in nvidea inspector / panel to clamp or leave it on allow. These are all these thoughts i continue to get. I read somewhere that i should increase my texture bandwith mult to get less blurries, or add texture maxload=30 in. Is this correct? Or is there a better way to do it and just let P3D V3.1 go at it itself. I find myself everytime going back to Nvidea control panel or inspector cause its just so drilled into me that i need to use it from my past experience. Maybe its time to let go lol Any tips / Settings you guys are using to get the performace and non blurries. Thanks heaps in advance

PMDG 777/737 black gauges
hey guys, So i did a system restore the other day just to wipe everything and start fresh. Today i installed the ngx and 777 200 and the 300 addon for P3D. Now normally when i do this for the first time, once i click the aircraft it asks me for my licence key. This time for all PMDG aircraft i chose it went straight into the flight. When i got to the cockpit, the gauges are all black, you cant click anything. In the NGX you can hear the engine sounds but in the 777 you cant hear anything. Anyone know what i may have done? Edit - Would the problem be because of sim connect? Cause when i go to start up Vplilot i get this error message - Could not initialize vPilot core components. Please ensure SimConnect version ........ is installed

Best AI traffic for Vpilot / vatsim
Hey guys, So yesterday i did a clean install of windows, deleting everything just so i can start again. One thing though is before hand i was using IVAO's model matching for the AI aircraft on vatsim. I know it cant be used anymore, so i ask the question. Whats the best program for matching models with updated liveries etc ? Cheers

Blurries and wrong textures
We need to know more about your system, try deleting your cfg and let p3d rebuild it. Try not tweaking p3d at all. Then start the silders to the left and keep moving them up until you find thats where its comfortable.

P3D Blurry Textures
I had the same problem, i surfed the web for ages trying to find a solution. Alot of the forums actually said to not tweak at all, i kinda disregarded that advice cause i have a kind of old system ( i5 4670k 4.4ghz, gtx 770 and 8gb of ram ) i thought i need these tweaks like affinity mask and fiber in there for my sim to run smooth. One day out of the blue i decided to do a clean install of my nvidea driver which wipes your settings and profiles, delete the p3d cfg and let it rebuild. Now the only thing i have done is turned off the wide view aspect within the sim so now im ezdok is 0.40 on the zoom, i have pre rendered frames set to 1, and thats it. And i have the sim running the best i have ever had it with crisp textures and also pretty damn good frames. So perhaps give that a go

No parking break sound

No parking break sound
Hey guys, With my NGX, it seems when i apply and take the parking break on and off there is no noise effect. Any reason why this might be? Everything else seems to be fine. Anyway i can resolve this problem

Darker night, retain day brightness?
Hey mate, I was the same as you, I could get my sim good at day but during night it was just so bright. For me i was looking for as real as possible, not being able to see clouds at night etc and only the lights flashing on your wings when youre at your cruise altitude. Basically a very dark night. I came across a program called Gapa ( link - http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/gamma_panel.html ) You can create profiles for your pc in general, for my night i have adjusted the settings so its darker. You can save the profile and when you want to fly at night just click it and your pc screen will turn into the profile which you have set. It has no effect on FPS. If you are interested i can give my settings in the morning. Cheers

Blurred ground textures
Hi there, So a while back when I had my P3D V2, i had the sim looking the best ever, the ground textures were crisp, no blurries i even had th Fiber tweak set to .01 and there was no blurries. After going on holidays to overseas for 4 months, i returned home only a few weeks ago. Downloaded P3D V3.1. Now when i fly, i just get blurries. It seems the textures dont look crisp anymore and in the distance the autogen is there, but underneath it just looks blurry. I tried the same settings i had in V2, dosent seem to work. i have read many forums and pages to say that the best way to get P3D to work is to not tweak at all, ive tried that. I have tried setting the FPS to limit of 30 did nothing for the ground textures, i have removed my affinity mask and fiber tweak and i just cant get the sim to look as good as i had it. I can get it stutterless, and also good smooth fps, but i cant get the crisp sharp textures. Can anyone give me any suggestions, on how they have there textures loading fast and crisp. I like to think i have an alright system ( I5 4670k 4,4ghz, Gtx 770 and 16gb ram ) Its just these dam blurries. Any hints?

P3D V3.1 settings
Hi all, This is one of my first posts here so im very new to it all. Was just wondering if i could get a few opinions on how to get the best performance, but also no blurries and nice crisp ground textures. My system specs are - I5 4670k 4.4GHz, GTX 770, 16GB ram, 1920X1080 monitor ( Should i select single monitor in NI ? ) I was just wondering if you guys could give me some good tweaks within the p3d cfg, and also in maybe nvidea inspector the control panel on getting nice crisp textures and also abit better performance. Any suggestions im willing to try Cheers In advance, Harry
