  1. Don't know about P3D, but X-Plane has wake turbulence. The developer of X-Plane is also real world pilot, and takes the flight model very seriously. I hope MSFS's flight model can come close to this:
  2. Doesn't Immersion (patent trolls) hold the patent for force feedback?
  3. I was reading page 5 of 9 and when I clicked to go to page 6 the entire thread is gone.
  4. Watch it fullscreen and it doesn't shimmer.
  5. The fact that they mentioned a new flight model tells me they are developing one. Will it be 'reference standard'? I don't know, but I'm confident it will be better than what we have now.
  6. In the July 11th update, they said they were aware of the importance of a new flight model. This won't be on-rails P3D. They know what we want.
  7. They changed the picture on the website from this: to this:
  8. Couldn't disagree more. I just bought a 4K 55" TV for my Xbox One X, and the difference between 4K and 1080P is night and day. HDR turned on looks amazing. 4K is so much sharper than 1080p.
  9. I guess I'm the only Xbox owner here. I own an Xbox One X, and will probably buy the new Scarlett Xbox next year. I don't read the Xbox forums. But from the comments posted on the official Xbox YouTube channel, it seems a lot of them are VERY excited at the possibility of recreating 9/11 and crashing into buildings....sigh. I don't see a flight simulator holding their attention for very long. As far as which platform to buy it for, Xbox or PC, it shouldn't matter. It will most likely be a 'Play Anywhere' game sim. Meaning, if you buy the game sim through the Xbox Store or the Windows Store, it's yours to play on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC at no additional cost.
  10. Hit piece. Nothing but FUD - (fear, uncertainty and doubt, usually evoked intentionally in order to put a competitor at a disadvantage). I watched the first video that he pulled, and this new one. He obviously has a vested interest in seeing this new flight sim fail.
  11. Here is what I would like to see (in no particular order): - Realistic flight model. - Crash model. - A good flight planner. - A fully functional G1000 with Synthetic Vision. - Regularly updated Navdata. - ATC with voice recognition...no more robotic voices. - Voice controls. - Pilots sitting in their seats. I want to see my first officer setting the flaps, moving the landing gear lever, etc. when I call for it. - An iPAD(tablet) available in all aircraft. Similar to the one in the Flight Factor a320 for X-Plane. - A flashlight for cold and dark starts. - GSX-like ground services. - Career mode. - In-game store to buy all add-ons. - Game and add-ons automatically kept up to date.
  12. Full. Bought it from here: http://www.flightsimstore.com/product_info.php?currency=USD&products_id=4309
  13. I just bought the Pro version for $47. Is that a good deal? I don't really know much about the plane, but everyone seems to love it.
  14. I use a program called FltPlan Go. This shows you how to configure it to work with X-Plane11.
