The last few times I have attemted a long flight with my pmdg 747-400X, it has done the weirdest things. I have double checked my FMC and pre-flight setup to make sure everything is right. Read the manual and view several video tutorials . I started a flght from EHAM to KDEN. The first several hundred miles everything is fine, then all of the sudden the plane goes into a type of holding pattern. Then it will lose speed and stall out. I have to disendaged the autopilot and reset everything. It keeps flying around in a circle then stalling out. Anyone else experienced this? Windows 7, 64 bit, INtel Core i7 Processor, ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB, 1TD Hard Drive, 8 GB DDR3 Memory.

Hi everyone, I have both the 400 and the 8 versions of the 747 and on both I get this bug: when at cruise altitude, the trim remains "up" (as for example when I set it for takeoff) and in order to fly straight and level the autopilot has to push the yoke all the way down... Is it only on my computer!? I uninstalled and installed again the whole FSX 3 times since when I have the 747 and I've always had this issue... I have pictures about this but I'm new on this forum and I don't know how to post them (if i even can). Anyway, any ideas on this issue? -
I'm reading through the manual, and i get to page 3-7. I figure i should practice using the form, so i go to 3-5 to find what number i get if i am landing at KSFO (altitude 13 ASL) but i realize none of the numbers are below 630, when it says on 3-7 that the final number can not exceed 630. i dont get it, is there some trick to fill out the form correctly?

HELP!! I recently installed the PMDG 747X for fsx and due to problems with my computer, I had to delete the MSFSX folder. I re-installed it today after taking out every part of my computer and replacing it. I booted up fine, reinstalled fsx and all my payware addons and then I got to the PMDG 747X. I loaded up the installer <Download Version of the Installer> and it came up with a error message: The setup has detected that version 2.1 has already been installed...This setup installs a previous version of the software...you will have to uninstall the previous version before installing this one. I thought <no dramas> and then went to control panel and uninstall a program, then clicked on the uninstall PMDG 747-400/F. I waited but nothing loads up. I need to reinstall this plane and the update. HELP!!! Many thanks in advance, Avidgamer32

Hi, I recently bought 747-400X for FSX on the DVD payware. I am totally stunned by the virtual cockpit and exterior models. They are fantastic. However I have a vertical pitch related issue, which stops me from really flying the plane altogether. I can takeoff well, everything goes to plan, but when I get to about 5000 ft, the vertical movement is uncontrollable. In other words, when I push my joystick down nothing happens. If I let go altogether the plane pitches at 30 degrees or so, ascending up to 20000ft a minute, and soon stalls. The pitch is reversed, descending at 30 degrees up to 20000ft a minute. Again the controls are useless. I end up crashing. I try to engage the autopilot to but the CMD buttons don't engage, and I have no control. I was very interested to find that the aircraft.cfg has no autopilot section also. I know the problem is not with the joystick. I have flown many different types of planes, not all the default FSX planes, some custom ones, and there has been no problem. I can fly this, then crash due to lack of vertical control (the lateral movement is very controllable), and then fly the FSX B737-800 and be completely fine. Please can someone help me, I really do love this plane, well worth the money, but I cant fly it at all, because the pitch and the autopilot are uncontrollable. Thank you. :smile: -
Hello, I defined for all doors keyboard commands for the 747-400X. With APU GEN 1 and 2 on AVAIL the following keyboard commands don't work: For all passengers 747-400: All Upper deck with Tab + D, Upper deck L with Tab + S and Upper deck R with Tab + T. For 747-400F: Loader nose with Tab + 3, Loader Forward R with Tab + 4, Loader After R with Tab + 5, Loader After L with Tab + 6, Entry doors Upper with Tab + 8 and Entry doors UR with Tab + O. Can anyone please advise me how to make this work? Paul

Hi Guys Help me solve my problem by creating my stupidity, upgrade like light in the craft's controls available http://www.bleedair....-pmdg-b744.html and does not save the original files and in the end I had lost beacon lights, please help with lights of the original file this craft, I hope for your help.
