Thanks PMDG this NGX is simply miles better than I though possible.I thought it would never be as good as I imagined or have seen. But it was way better. So thank you very much. Now to my small issue. I have a problem with thrust reverse.I have a ch yoke with 1 axis for the throttle 1 for the reverser and 1 for the spoilers. When I am on the ground I can advance the throttle to any setting bring it back to idle and then open the reversers no problem at all.In other words If I try and diagnose the issue on the ground before taking off I cannot find any issues to diagnose. After landing with either an a/p - a/t approach or full manual I need to press f1 key before being able to apply thrust reverse.Or after reducing thrust to idle with the yoke throttle axis (at say 40") then touching down all gear, I still need to press f1 or move the throttle axis forward and then back to idle before being able to use reverse thrust. I have a registered version of fsuipc. I know there are some issues with fsuipc so I have assigned most stuff via FSX only the reverser axis is assigned via fsuipc. Not sure what else to try. I tried different null settings. Any one else had similar things happen? Appreciate any advice,Cheers

I will appreciate if someone can help me to know how I can see in a reply flight the secuence of reverse thrust, flaps, speed brakes, etc. because the reply does not show me those steps in my beautiful 737-800 NGX, as occurrs in different add-ons that I use from time to time. Thanks a lot, friends. Oscar

Hi guys, I've just picked up an A10 Warthog from Thrustmaster. I am over the moon with the quality which is a fantastic upgrade from my Saitek, X52-Pro. (I've just been in our company A330 sim and the joystick feels identical (heavy) to the real thing). I have a couple of questions, (default drivers no further software) Firstly, there are a lot of switches and some are two way and some are 3 way, for the two way switches I was hoping for 2 actions, but it seems like it just cycles one function. For example, for landing gear in the boeing, the 3 way switch only regonises one position and that just cycles the gear up and down. Is there a way to have the switches register more than one position? 2) There is a reverse detent function for both throttle levers, but that axis isn't recognised at all in p3d/fsuipc, has anyone got this working? Kind regards,

Dear fellow simmers, when I do a landing, autoland or non-presicion, it takes me a long distance to get the speed at about 60 knots. Looking outside the plane, when landing, I noticed that the automatic deployment of the speedbrakes does not work when I engage the reverse thrust. I use the Saitek pro flight yoke system and arm the speedbrakes by the throttle quadrant. But it also does not work when I arm the speedbrakes with the keystroke Shift+/. Thurtermore the speedbrakes are engaged. This problem is of course even more frustrating when you have to land on a short runway, which is almost impossible. I hope someone can help me to solve this issue. René

Team, the NGX is a flagship of Flight Simulators. This simulation is so massive it goes steps beyond what could be considered a stand-alone Flight Simulator. After completing a flight in the NGX I hoped outside and decided to explore all of the animations: From the Flap gear that spins inside the Flap Farring (sp) to the way the Leading Edge Flaps fold inward with flawless style. Considering PMDG has put so much effort, time, and dedication into the animations and modelling, it would be silly of me not to report the one and only glitch I witnessed while sitting on the ramp at PHX. When the reversers are engaged, one of the (vortex generators?) that is attached to the rear Nacelle does not animate and move with the rest of the nacelle as the reversers are deployed. I've included an example picture, and decided to use Robert's favorite MS-Paint Red Circles™ . That's about it after 5 hours in the NGX over two afternoons. I would have spent an equal amount of time running through all the cool systems in the Flight deck with my fairly heavy flight manuals, but when I re-entered the cabin after a 30 minute walk-around I noticed 2 Zone Temp warnings. Apparently, the flight deck was roasting at ~ 48c temperatures... so I grabbed my bags and left before something caught fire.

With FSX, F2 is pressed and held to engage reverse thrust. FSUIPC4 can be programmed to assign a joystick or throttle quadrant button (I use the Saitek Throttle microswitch button) to brake the aircraft on landing. However, this cannot be used as a LINDA command as F2 opens the Lua Editor. Is there a FSX Command that can be used in Linda to activate reverse thrust?

Hi all I recently visited my local airport and I noticed that all of the B738 and A320 aircraft seemed to idle the reverse thrust at 60 knots but the covers on the engines remained open until the end of the runway. Only one B738 idled the reverse thrust at 60 knots and also closed the covers at the same time. Please can someone explain this to me? Also, can this be simulated in FSX using the NGX? Ryan
