George->Capt. Randazzo, are you going to take time to have a nervous>breakdown after SU2 release? :)Nah.... I took a few weeks off from work to be around for the grand SU2 unveiling- and once you all are up and running I'll take a few days to goof off....Then Lefteris will be calling my cell phone to remind me that I am behind in my 737-800/900 deliverables....and we'll start the cycle over!

Captains-I have just distributed to our beta team Build 72.... We have every expectation that Build 73 will be released to all of you as the PMDG 737: Service Update 2!We plan to give them a bit of time for testing and to ensure that the product is compatible with both FS9 and FS2002, and to ensure we don't run into any real show-stopping snags with this version...If we get a clean bill of health from the beta team in that regard- we will begin the process of releasing it to you!A couple of things you should keep in mind, however:1) If something comes up that we are not happy with, we will continue to withold the final release in favor of fixing the problem....2) If we discover something that might be considered a show-stopper- we will withold the final release in favor of fixing the problem....3) Some time will elapse between our getting a green light from the beta team and releasing the product to you.... This is normal...don't panic! ;-)4) We will post an announcement here once we have started the release process.... 5) You will receive an email alerting you to your download account location and information...6) If you have changed email addresses, we will post (here in this forum) instructions to update your address so that we may deliver an updated download link to you as quickly as possible.... (read #7 however!)7) DO NOT SEND ADDRESS UPDATES TO OUR SUPPORT EMAIL ADDRESS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES OR WE WILL NOT GET TO YOUR REQUEST IN A TIMELY FASHION... (Read this again closely!)8) Please please please expect the server to be slow- and expect that some of you may wait before getting access to the server. This is the result of such a high degree of interest in this product! The server will get to all of you eventually- so PLEASE BE PATIENT!Okay- I'm off to get some sleep finally this evening... we'll keep you updated as the weekend progresses.... ;-)

As a senior software engineer (in the area of operating systems), I must say I'm amazed by your process.I know of no other company that can afford 74 betas versions over severals months and still don't know exactly when they are going to ship the product. I can't even think of the number of alphas you must have released. You are very lucky to be able to afford to work this way.Call me if you're looking for someone, I'll definitly apply for a position in your company :-)Eric.
