December 12, 200322 yr Author John,Have some patience mate :)Isn't it better for us that they test everything and ensure its released bug free? I know I'd rather wait for say build 100 to be released than getting say build 99 with a few bugs. Cheers,John TavendaleTextures by Tavers - https://www.facebook.com/texturesbytavers

December 12, 200322 yr Hi Randy!!and PMDG team!!I know SU2 is coming very soon but I have one question I've already post here long long time ago(but none of ya'll seemed to give me an answer...).Anyway...Did PMDG added a rudder trim gauge in SU2? I think this gauge is missing badly when you only have one engine...(correct me if I'm wrong).Thanx in advance...Essono Fritz Best regards, Fritz ESSONO
December 12, 200322 yr Vin,all you need for that aluminum pole is a blonde in a skimpy XMAS type outfit to make best use of it. ;)
December 12, 200322 yr If SU2 were released this weekend it would be ANOTHER Festivus MIRACLE, haha. Vic, in leiu of a Christmas present this year I'm donating to the Human Fund in your name :)
December 12, 200322 yr PMDG Team-First, I want to say thanks for all your efforts. It's tough to wait, but a clean product is better.I have asked this question before with no response from you, so I'll try again.Would it be possible to release the manuals and any tutorials available prior to or, at program release, as a separate download so that we can get going on everything new?Thanks-

December 12, 200322 yr Hi,It is a good question and I tend to agree it would be a good thing to release before SU2 arrives. But this is not my or any beta testers call to make. I can say this much however; the other day, the beta team found some discrepancies in the manual that has to be corrected before release and considering the huge workload the development team is under right now I find it hard to see that this could be done.Ok, back to another test flight... phew...Regards, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|

December 12, 200322 yr Commercial Member Essono->Did PMDG added a rudder trim gauge in SU2? I think this gauge>is missing badly when you only have one engine...(correct me>if I'm wrong).Good question!No- the we have not added a trim gauge because the current layout left no space for one... I''ll add that to my list of "Things-To-Figure-Out" for the update that will come during the release of the 8/900...Now that being said- I've flown a couple of hundred engine out procedures in the simulator- and unfortunately have had to shut down a few in the real world....I don't recall EVER looking at the rudder trim gauge during those events- i was entirely concerned with keeping the ball centered instead...In fact- the only time I use the trim gauge in the real world is to ensure the trim is centered for takeoff.... (in case maintenance was messing with it or my nervous FO was twisting it in his sweaty palm during preflight...) Other than that it is all done by "The Balls."I'll see about setting one up for the future, none-the-less! Robert S. December 12, 200322 yr Commercial Member Mike->Would it be possible to release the manuals and any tutorials>available prior to or, at program release, as a separate>download so that we can get going on everything new?The new manuals come with the product itself- but we will also be adding them to the page for download...I have to wait for release, as I want to ensure that the manuals are MOST current with the airplane version...RSR Robert S.
