February 25, 200422 yr I would be intrested in B1900 routes, and 737 routes of not more than 3-4 hours. What a GReat Idea this is.Jason
February 25, 200422 yr I think Precison Airways for the name and Precision XXX for the call sign.Could I also mention that Amsterdam (EHAM) Airport is one of the biggest in the world, well certainly in Europe anywayscould we make it a Hub also? the online ATC is very good as well and it is manned nearly every night with at least 2 freq
February 25, 200422 yr Hi Paul, What a great idea for a pmdg virtual airline ,Im sitting on the runway at egkk waiting for my new callsign ,lets call it Precision International ,as there are pilots from all over the world waiting to fly in this virtual airline. martin
February 25, 200422 yr Sounds great guys. I know I'll definitely be joining as none of the VA's I'm a part of have the 1900's.Don't forget a hub (or at least good routes from denver) into the southwest, we get great ATC coverage daily.__Josh
February 26, 200422 yr Precision air for the name is finePrecision XXX for the call sing is good to.AS a matter of fact, either this one or Premier is fine, The only thing we have to remember is that we need a call sign not more than 2 syllabus, and easy to pronounce, for eradio transmition. It has to be straight loud, and easy to be pronounced even in the most adverse conditions. in the other end, it has to be particular enough to have any one listening to it for the first time asking himself "what is that company??"If you need any help on the european side, let me know via private mail.Cpt Cyrille de Lattrewww.corporateaviationservices.comAsus P4P800/P4 2.4 giga/1.5 giga DDR/Ati 9700 pro 128 meg
February 26, 200422 yr I highly suggest Boston, or the nearby Class C as another hub.If you want professional ATC, you'll always get it in Boston. I am a controller there too, so you might think I am biased, but anyone who has flown there (especially in an event night) knows that we got what it takes. :)Thanks.
February 26, 200422 yr Thinking of Newark for the northeast. Would Boston be better? I had good intel that the New York area was really good.
February 26, 200422 yr The ZNY staff are also awesome on ATC. Newark sounds good, too. I guess what I'm trying to do is bring in some traffic to ZBW ARTCC. :) But with Newark as a hub, I am sure a decent amount of B1900 traffic will include some ZBW airports (KALB, KMHT, KACK, KMVY, etc), so we will still get some traffic :)Let's get this thing up in the air :)
February 26, 200422 yr Gimme a route into Weipa (get the atlas out) and I'm yours!ScottYBTL (soon to be YBWP) Scott
February 26, 200422 yr Hi there! Any flight to Portugal? :) WE have great ATC in VATSIM and IVAO, most of them are related with real-world aviation.
February 26, 200422 yr Hi;I have previously expressed my interest and desire in becoming a pilot with VA Precision Air - however; after reading several of the posts, I see trouble on the horizion with that possibility. For me, anyay. It appears that PA is going to be set up and operated VATSIM weighted. Alas, I have neither the skills nor the computer equipment (software) to run VATSIM.Looks like I'll have to stay running my own PMDG Beech 1900D service between McCook, Nebraska and Denver, Colorado, solo as I have been doing sinced acquiring this great little aircraft. Great Lakes Air; btw, now provides real life service between these to locations. Thanks,DonaldS
