March 3, 200422 yr Commercial Member Hi PMDGThere seems to be a small bug in that screenshot! The right AP is on, still, the left FCC seems to be master (the MA light over the left FD)Not a biggy, though!Regards,Mark Mark Foti Author of aviaworx - https://www.aviaworx.com
March 6, 200422 yr Hi!Very nice screens, but i think the attitude indicator in the PFD is not real enough. The screen widht and height does not match the real thing.Laszlo GulyasBudapest (LHBP), Hungaryhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/checkcapt.jpg
March 8, 200422 yr Hi PMDG,I'm getting realy excided by now and thats way I have the question: "How long is the remaining time before release?"I mean a week or a month or a year but not the exact date because you dont gona give that date anyway. :(
March 9, 200422 yr Hi guys,I'm disappointed.......The B747 is way too far from release.....:( :-)) :-)) :-))I must say guys, PMDG is setting a new high standard on aircraft add-on. In fact you are already the standard for wich all other payware addons should compare too.And I mean that regarding the quality of the product, BUT for the support itself. I can't remember anything similar to you (perhaps Lago in terms of quickness). My 10 stars out of 5!!!!!Cheers:-beerchugMiguel

March 10, 200422 yr Common PMDG,Do not so childish, be an adult :)Give us the future-list for the B737-800 and -900Ramon
March 10, 200422 yr Thanks Robert,Those are some great shots of the 800/900 series. Have you had a chance to take any shots of the 2D panel? I know the VC shows the over and under EICAS gauges well, but I don't like the frame hit with VC, plus for my "olD" eyes the 2D panel is easier to read. Will the 2D panel also support the over and under EICAS?Thanks Again for great work.Bob
March 14, 200422 yr >On the other hand, I'm sorry to be the first negative>comment,>because for even 100 bucks I would still buy the PMDG,>but I'm really not convinced by the look of the new EFIS>displays,>with all these analogic instruments on it.>I think it doesnt look very realisitic.>In a word, I dont like it at all.>>I went to check some cockpit pictures, and couldnt find>anywhere>such looking displays.>Wouldnt have it better to add an extra sub-panel?>>M.A.Solvaythis is a real life 737 display option offered by Boeing designed to allow air carriers like Southwest Airlines to have a common type rating for all pilots who fly the 737-200 -> 737-900. the FAA in the USA will not allow pilots to go from the tape display guages you see in many 737 NG aircraft to a 737 without such displays because of too much variation between the styles of the instruments. by putting old analogue style instruments on the glass panel it allows pilots to fly one leg in a -200/-300 and then hope in a -700 etc. without difficulty and saves many companies in terms of training and having two pilot groups for one aircraft type, the 737.
March 19, 200422 yr WOW! great aircraft guys! Just one question, the displays in the VC, they have the Altimiter and speed gauge all electronic on the LCD screens, i know of airlines that dont do that and have the 6/700 LCD screen style, is there an option when you open Flight Simulator and select the aircraft if you want that kind of screen or the more traditoonal 6/700 style screen? thanks guysQantas Guy
March 19, 200422 yr Qantas Guy,Yes, you will be able to chose between the 2(I believe 2) NG MFD layouts.
