This is what happens when No2 is shut down in the air due to fire, then the HYD3 decides to leak all it's fluids and the guy in the right seat can not find the manual extension for the under belly gear (he has leanred where it is afterwards....)http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/192579.jpgThe gear on the above pic is deployed from the rough touchdown!!!Crusing over the Med before all #### brakes loose :)http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/192580.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/192581.jpgNight view of the panel. Oh did I mention that I am using a 24' wide view panel? And that PMDG has made a special panel that can be used on wide monitors? No more stretching ;)http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/192582.jpgShe is a beauty to fly, she handles superb, this plane will set new standards ;)Chris

This is great, what are your system specifications btw?! :D

I have been beta testing the MD11 on a P4 3.2GHz with an old ATI 256MB card. The single core seems to handle it very well (except when FSX throughs heavy scenery at me). The aircraft sim itself is just amazingly fluid. Having said that, I'm due to upgrade but that will be for the rest of FSX and not in anyway required for the MD11.Note I'm not the same guy that posted the widescreen pics.

Robin, On my machine I am getting around 24 with locked to 25. In some cases I let them free I was up to 30 and the lowest was 18 17 if my memory serves me correctly. In general is much much smoother with better frames than the 747X.Chris

Hi,>my specs are listed two posts above yours on the same thread>:)>>No I don't have LSH MD, I am mostly an FS9 guy :)Oops - hehe! Excellent! The LSH MD2006 was originally for FS9, then ported to FSX. I've got it running nicely now, which is why I was interested.Hopefully not long now! :DBest regards,Robin.

>EDIT: I see the frame rate counter in the corner - NICE!.>And, he still has some autogen going! Currently I have a 22" Widescreen monitor and I use FS9. My current resolution when using FS9 is 1280X960 if I remembe correctly. I use this setting when flying PMDG 747-400. Do you think I will have to make any changes to the FS9 resolution to run PMDG MD-11 or is it a matter of preference?ThanksPerry Fincher
