October 26, 200223 yr Greetings...Thank God it's the weekend... been praying for it since Monday! I had some time to re-work the ol' VFR/LANDING View and I think you all will be delighted with the results. It flows much better with the rest of the PIC panel. I did two versions:1. AAL/DELTA Style panel with the Radar-Altimeter Tape3dba028e29b0bd04.jpg2. UAL/OTHER Style panel WITHOUT the Radar-Altimeter Tape3dba029229b4c4e2.jpgSimply choose the panel based on what carrier you typically fly with in FS2002.My P&W sound-edit has also been updated! Check my web-site for all this stuff!Sincerely,Phil Geddes
October 26, 200223 yr Can someone tell me how to find the website. I think I missed something but I can't find it.Thanks.
October 26, 200223 yr Hi Phil!First, a gazillion thank yous for making all these things available!! I'm Thoroughly enjoying PIC again in a new way: new, even better landing-view, with right colors, attitude indicator and RA meter ! AND I just installed the PW sounds, too, they are terrific!! Finnair has 757s with PW engines, so I'm using FFG's model, PIC panel with your landing-view and the PW sounds! This keeps getting better!Terops. Could you please be so kind as to make your future updates also available without the bugs in the windscreen. I have edited them out with PSP every time, but it would be easier to update (it seems these are pretty often :)) without having to edit. A MINOR thing, not a big issue really, editing takes 2 minutes :). Why am I asking... blahh... lol! PPL(A)
October 26, 200223 yr Thanks for this PhilMuch appreciated! I myself actually find it difficult to land without a VSI - is there any chance you could include an option with the 767PIC VSI?All the Best,Eoin.
October 26, 200223 yr Looks nice! BTW real 767 pilots don't use the VSI/VVI for landing, only on approach.
October 26, 200223 yr Hello~~~i would think a VSI is an important guage for this great VFR view, because i can't really manage a landing without VSI, especially if i want a nice soft touch down during a strong gust. Although the real pilot don't need their VSI when landing, but in case that we can't actually feel the movement of the aircraft in the flight simulator, a VSI would compromising this~~~

October 26, 200223 yr Thank you for the update! Just as an FYI:You have a typo in your sound.cfg file for Jet_Whine 2.02:vparams=vparams=...
October 26, 200223 yr Thanks Phil,Great job...I'm enjoying PIC 767 awhole lot more these days because of your efforts.Regards,
